I'm a Lions fan and I've only seen the Texans game against them, and I can see why Slowik is a problem. He kept trying to run the ball in the second half of that game and it wasn't working. Despite that he just kept calling more running plays and the team didn't score a point in the second half.

Texans had 40 rush yards. 11 penalties. 3-13 on third down. The players have to play. It’s always been players over coaches. The players make the coaches. The players need accountability

The fan base is angry that the OC and o-line coach are so incredibly bad at their job and the front office won't fire them. So from an actual Houston native and fan of the team, If you hear anyone making the claim that Texans fans are turning on CJ, its Complete BS and that person needs to be immediately disregarded. Trust me, been following the team for its entire existence, and CJ is the most positively received QB we've ever had. That hasn't changed.

This is a franchise that is tied for the most Superbowls in NFL history, and the coach has never had a losing season.
