“We know from Azeez’s perspective, we can’t throw punches or anything like that. Just, overall, we just have to be able to protect players and it goes both ways. Great suggestion. Not to be melodramatic (which means I’m about to be melodramatic), but KG’s 2022 play disgusted me. He almost got DM3 unalived a couple times. In no reality did he not suck. Then, his 2023 pre-szn play just made me feel sorry for him. I felt like he was Austin Powers minus his mojo. Remember that last pre-szn gm vs the saints? He was literally moping around like a kid who just got yelled at. I realize that shoulder injuries cause a person to walk gingerly, but that was bizarre. It’s so great to see him back to the road grader OL he was at A&M. He really turned it around with caring for his body - dude showed up to camp ripped up like a bad report card. He asked coach ryans to call the vet bc as he told him, “my pythons are sick.” Then he flexed. That happened. No. It didn’t.

Stop whining about the sideline players… they all talk trash, but the only one that threw a punch was a Texan…grow up and learn how to handle your emotions. This is a game of emotion and just because a guy is on the sideline waiting to go in, Doesn’t mean he isn’t emotionally invested into every single play.. . and likewise, plenty of offensive and defensive players trash talk the sidelines 🤦‍♂️. This is football not.
