I just don't understand the final play.....I really thought they'd run the ball. I felt they had the best chance of scoring with the run on the 2-yard line. A&M deserved and should've had this win. Bama did not win this game by doing anything special....Bama did not win this game....A&M lost this game. Not the players fault....just a bad coaching call I guess, IMO

If A&M had an option or quarterback, or a qb who had some speed, they would've had all sorts of improvisational ways to get the ball in the end zone. In final plays, which are often crazy and frantic, an athletic qb could just make a broken play scramble for a td. With this guy? Wow... no chance. And then he throws it out of bounds!!!!

I just realized something - that crazy catch by Evan Stewart could have easily ended this game - nobody put a hand on him as he caught the ball - we were very lucky that he did not keep his balance - if he lands on his feet, both of our defenders would have still been looking around as they were doing and Stewart would have turned around and jogged into the end zone - there was nobody else back there to stop him - that scared me just looking at this replay - boy boy boy, what a way to loose a game - and situations like that have happened before so it was very possible - reminded me of that catch made by the Clemson receiver in the 2016 National Championship Game on that last drive - I still don't know how he caught that ball - that was the biggest play of that drive other than that stupid 15 yard penalty that we had - but I am just glad that A&M called a dumb play on the last play of this game and we survived - 🐘 Roll Tide

- For those trying to criticize Haynes King, you can go pound sand. The kid played hurt the entire 2nd half, he fought and clawed. BAMA defense was in the backfield all night. He showed toughness, grit and perseverance. He was almost practically in tears at the end of the game, which shows he's got heart. He's a great character kid. I would hire him in a heartbeat to work for me. - For those of you saying BAMA would have won if Bryce Young played...remember, Bryce Young played the entire game last year and he was rattled by A&M's defense. A&M was missing 10 players from their 2-deep also. You play with the players who can play. - The last play should have been the same misdirection play to the TE to Green that scored a TD earlier.

I don't know how many times I have to say it. I didn't say they were the better team. I just said judging off of the highlights and recaps, A&M looked to be the better team. King was gutsy while running for his life the entire game. A&M is going to have a nasty defense in three years when all this million dollar dlineman are juniors. They have a 5 star qb but if he can’t beat king out then I dunno if he’ll be the answer. They’ll need a qb and they could be pretty tough in a couple years. Horrible last play. Especially from the short hash and if you’re going to make that throw it has to come out earlier but he was covered. They should of ran the pick play. Clemson did it multiple times to win a title against Bama on the goaline. It’s one of the easiest plays against man coverage. Anderson is nice but hell, no idea how, but he’s unblocked way too much. Turner may have the better future. Bamas depth is crazy. You have a guy like Braswell, who actually had a sack, who was a 5 star number one at his position and as a junior he’s a backup lol. They have multiple four star and a five star rb but Gibbs their transfer from GT is by far the best they have. Cant believe none of those other three aren’t very good. Their depth everywhere is insane. The refs let A LOT go in this game.

Then you said you were gonna win in 2017 before being blown out by 31 points again that time against an unranked Iowa. When our QB was down everybody else stepped up their game.. That's why it's called a "team sport".. It does hinder you for a while, but a "team" will adjust and overcome..
