Clemson strength of schedule is 164.5 #54 in country vs Texas strength of schedule is 213.25 #15 in country. There are no decent comparisons. There is a major reason Vegas made this a 12 point spread. Funny thing is Texas played the same amount of teams with a winning record as Clemson did but it’s never pointed out like it is with Clemson. I mean yeah they went 3-1 against them but those teams were Colorado state, a 7-5 gators with the backup qb, a Texas A&M team that got boat raced by SC, and UGA who they lost to. Their OOC opponents are a joke and the rest of their schedule they played bottom feeder SEC teams. Not saying Clemson will win by pointing that out btw. It’ll be hard for Clemson to compete considering their top 2 RBs are injured and the other RBs are underclassmen that have little to no in game experience

Every conference opponent Texas played besides miss state and Kentucky finished with earning a bowl game. Miss State 2-10 Georgia 11-2 OU 6-6 Florida 7-5 Vanderbilt 6-6 Arkansas 6-6 Kentucky 4-8 Texas atm 8-4 Also Michigan finished 7-5. This all gave Texas the 15th hardest schedule in college football, season adjusted.

It's a joke to say Texas hasn't played ranked teams. Noone wants to mention that Texas throttled a Michigan team in Ann Arbor that just beat Ohio State on the road without Michigan's 2 best players. Noone wants to talk about throttling an OU team that just embarrassed Alabama while using a QB that wasn't good enough to stay at OU.
