Very generous, and I would imagine time consuming (and very professional) for you to put all the coins info + bid price and comps. in upper left hand corner. How you guys don't have at least 10-20 k views I can't fathom. Teaching, sharing, and offering genuinely watchable interesting content/story. What more could an enthusiast want? Starting to sound redundant but again, good job fellas.

Stacking 90%... Especially love the walking liberty halves...
@raymondbrown9405 ай бұрын
I definitely like to stack the 90% silver coins. I do have some eagles and some bullion. But, I have no attachment to them. It's the coins that I like, simply because I'm a collector. I keep multiple denominations, but mostly dimes and dollars. If everything hits the fan, those are the ones that are going to be most useful. Great channel, guys! Keep up the good work.

I can't imagine spending a large amount of money on gold and silver without having a Sigma. This coin analyzer is a must have for the stacker.

The Morgan looks PL for sure on the reverse, the obverse does looksbroken up some. Would I crack it out? No, I'd play it safe with that one.

I love silver dollars! When I was a kid you could still get them from the bank...and I did, whenever I had the money. Later in life I used to buy them for $3-$4 each (common date average circulated, VG-F Morgan and Peace dollars) from the coin shop on my way home from work. I have no idea how many I put away! I also love MS 65 and above dmpl Morgans, I have quite a few. I've loved U.S. silver dollars since I was a kid and still do!

That box of Morgan and Peace dollars was amazing. Never saw that many raw at once.
@rubbersidedowncycles59805 ай бұрын
usually go for the lowest premium. But I think you must have 90% in your stack as it provides many additional features then silver by the oz.

I try to keep my collection diverse. It's becoming more and more numismatic top heavy which has made me slow down a bit in quantity but I think it's wise to balance between the three primary groups numismatic, bullion, and constitutional. I know everyone out there has thier reason or thoughts as to why they collect. I primarily do it as a means to transfer my available cash into something of value that also has positive growth over time. If I have lots of fiat currency, I tend to be less frugal. It's there if I need it, but only if I really need it if that makes sense.

With respect to AU 50, I do own an AU 50 PCGS 1856 S 20 Dollar gold piece. However, it is a pedigreecoin. That is it has a story behind it. It is from the Central America ship wreck which sank in 1857. Causing the United States to go into a recession. It was called the panic of 57. What is even more interesting is that the coin dated 1856 S, could have very well been a passengers coin who lost their life going down with the ship off the Carolina coast during a hurricane. .

It's nice to see a coin shop with customers. Every time I find a new shop and go in for a visit, either it's appointment only and/or it's me and the owner, who is looking at me like he has a gun ready to draw at any moment.

Please do a video on the vintage bars you guys stacked from all your dealings. Some of my favorite bullion to collect are older ingots from the 1960s - 1980s or earlier. Thanks LOVE the content keep it up guys

Excellent coins. That 1880-s ms64pl looks like there’s to much cartwheel action to be dpl/dmpl from here anyways hahaha. I still want them all! Thanks
@samsmobilepressurewashing84225 ай бұрын
The 1880-S PL looks like a gorgeous white coin with exceptional cameo. The rule of thumb that im aware of is the depth of mirror, I want to say the mirrors in the field need to reflect 8+ inches to be DMPL. That rule seems to undermine the outstanding cameo and liquid reflection. Another factor is the 1880-S is already known for being an attractive coin with flashy luster. Because of that, perhaps graders are more strict on DMPL designations, also an old holder. If the reflection rule applies, maybe the graders missed it or new graders are more lenient? Either way I would be proud to own it. I've owned all white PL Morgans that did not have the deep water-like reflection but were not 1880-S.

XF45 to AU50 ,probably one of the most difficult 5 point 'Sheldon' spreads to discern much difference between on some coins, especially if toned. Yeah I would probably have to agree with that.

Whats the difference between gresheet wholesale prices and the CPG retail pricing. When looking for coins to resell which one would I use?
@AcoushaCollectibles5 ай бұрын
We use GS. CPG is what the retail believe to be what collectors would pay. We mainly focus on auctions as data points also.
