great job, but why the 16ft pole? i usually use 7 ft, so just curious.

Believe it or not Chris, the crappie even get spooked sometimes in that deep Lake Fork water. Mostly from the waves slapping on my aluminum boat. The 16ftr helps to get the bait at least 2-3ft further out from the boat.
