Greg Abbott approved a law that will eliminate local rules mandating water breaks for construction workers. House Bill 2127 was passed by the Texas Legislature during this year's regular legislative session. Abbott signed it Tuesday. It will go into effect on Sept.Jun 16, 2023

80 mph winds happen reguarly every fall in the texas panhandle. It is tough but build your buildings to take it and have house and state inspectors be liable for not haveing proper sighns and state structures. There is a lot people can do to help them selves for preparedness. God help them and i realize there was large amounts of water also. In may there was a rain went through the panhandel that dumped 7 to 11 inches in 8 hours here.

Inflation was in control as long as we were freely importing from China. No way inflation can be controlled in the short term without globalization. Interest rate will have no impact at all on this kind of inflation. Near shoring may give us a sense of security but does not solve inflation but will actually aggravate the problem.
