It makes wading through all the other films worth it just to see a gem like this one. I lived in a smallish Town which has a University and small airport in Texas.I must say that this movie portrayed many of the Texas folks charectors very nicely.But I must say there is a sort of lonely feeling living there caused by the great distances and all those 1mile squares fenced off which hinders the free feelings of possible travel with a Quarter Horse,Dog,fishing pole and underlever saddle gun with bedroll and saddle bags, My dream of trying out the Cowboy life across Texas just could not happen for me.But this movie touched my heart in places with the Folk charectorisations bringing nostalgea to me. GOD BLESS TEXAS THE USA AND BRING BACK THE NATION OF NATIONS TO HELP OUR WORLD TO HAPPIENESS AMEN ! All be Blessed.

I lived in Lake Whitney, Texas, off and on between 1976 and 2001. Assuming cell phone addiction hasn't corrupted the people and they're still like "Texas folk," this movie is a good depiction. The first thing that blew my mind was how people in cars wave at you when you pass them on the street. They don't know you - they just wave. And the signs at the Texas state line when I drove there in 2000 said "Drive Friendly, the Texas Way." It was a good place to live. I hope it still is. (I'm in California now, so y'all can say a prayer for me.)

Don't recommend living in Texas anymore. Unless you're sure you can leave if needed. We're losing our best very needed people in lots of professions. Anybody in medical and teaching, we need help for lousy compensation and decades of bad politicians.

A simple but good movie showing being honest and humble may result in being trampled upon by others, but in the end it sets you free to be on your journey to heaven. A good old fashioned hospitality of Texas, ye haw !

It's tough trying to hide from people who want you dead. You're a big city lawyer who lost the wrong case. Always looking around for thugs sent by Ms. Smith because her son was found guilty now in prison and she wants your hide. Can he blend in and make friends in this small Texas town. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did.

That's a good movie . My father was in the stadium was actually filmed in Charleston Ms. In that part. He died 2 years later I so miss him . Go daddy. Hugs in heaven 😘

a very good movie that worth to watch for ...tiger makes me cry ,buddy symbolized the dog loyal for Luv ..allison & his father let us know that no perfect family ,it almost all ofus experienced too ..roy is a legit teen ager boy that has ego ,handsome & hardheaded ..the people of the town shown us how the old people of texas has a beautiful solid heart ...the lawyer shown us his mistake & make a right decisions when he stand for tiger ...every one has a story & lesson for us ..the sherif ,the family of tiger & everything ..very very good movie for family to watch .

Texas is lovely here. Today's Texas has a very ugly side due to years of bad politicians. It's really not a place to be if you become vulnerable in and way. This breaks my heart and I've lived in the heart of it for 50 years. Enough to know what I see. I don't recommend settling here unless you can get back out. I'll suspend reality and try to enjoy this movie. And be grateful there ARE good people here too.
