As a street outreach worker who works with people using drugs & a person in recovery, Its not unheard of that someone dies of an OD & the people around them freak out & dump their body on the side of the road, gas stations, fields, etc. Now that death by distribution laws are sweeping the nation, no one wants to be charged with murder for sharing/selling drugs. These laws will increase deaths, not hinder. I'm in no way condoning or encouraging such actions, but I do understand how it happens. I pray for justice 🙏

@passionatepatriot7272 If 2 people take drugs, and one dies from an overdose, and the other one calls 911, what will happen to the caller?? Is it a crime and what is that crime called? Will the police take the caller to jail because they've obviously taken drugs too. Will the police arrest them and search their house(if they're in a house) and the caller will be punished if they find drugs in the house?? Is that why I've read if this happens, the others that are there move the dead person and dump them somewhere, is it to avoid some punishment? I would appreciate if you could tell us a little bit more about what you have seen in your work. Thank you
@isabelmarie82012 ай бұрын
So you can call 911 and not get in trouble as long as you don't have a warrant. - which a lot of addicts do- and as long as you didn't provide the drugs that were used ... So basically when being high there's no way in hell you want to call 911. However I have called 3 times because I wanted them to come save the person's life, I think people that think the other is overdosed and beyond help and don't know that CPR can help until they come those are the ones that don't call. He is most likely using with her. He loves her. He doesn't know how to deal with this like he said there is no book. Maybe he thinks that her family and kids see it as better to have her hang herself than overdosed.
@isabelmarie82012 ай бұрын
Oh All 3 times when I called the people were saved by Narcan I had already administered. And only the EMTs came. Whether the person who overdosed went to the hospital or refused to go, each time no cops ever came and I didn't have any issues ... They never even checked who I was at all..... If the person had died may have been a different story.

My brother took his life in February and it's still hard/impossible for me to talk about him in past tense. It amazes me how people so quickly can do so in these cases - maybe because theres not a lot of emotion tied to the deceased. Maybe some people are quicker to accept but in the same sentence he says "I'm still waiting for her to come back" like he hasn't quite accepted it so it's interesting.

I live in League City, TX. This story has shaken our community. It is so macabre. We have a beautiful community with so much to do and see. We are located close to Galveston TX with a lot of marinas. Unfortunately, there is a small segment of broken down boats (as evidenced by this man’s boat) housing people with addiction in that particular marina. I am shocked that there were no witnesses, unless they are afraid to come forward. There are condominiums that face the marina and so many residents who live on their boats.

It could be possible she overdosed and he was nearly as bad but woke up and found her dead. In his drug addled mind he did the only thing that made sense to him by trying to stage her suicide? Just giving him benefit of doubt. He seems to have a well looked after dote of a dog and may be incapable of harming anyone. If her death was by a violent act the autopsy would show this quickly enough.

I think she overdosed, panicked, and didn't want his boat searched at the time so he moved the body. Also he may have bought the drugs. I believe him about the family. IF he did this because she OD'd on his boat, I can see why he would go through something like this to try to avoid getting into trouble for having illicit substances on his boat. He would hardly be the first person to go through so much to hide something like that. But, if the police think she was *murdered* they probably have a reason to think that. I'm going to wait for more evidence to come out before I decide on what I think makes the most sense.

Isn't it POSSIBLE That she actually DID die in the water and her arm was floating above her head and then the tide went down AND RIGOR MORTISE HAD SET IN SO HER ARM STAYED UP TIDES usually fluctuates at a marina.. I think it's weird that they would only set an $80,000 Bond even though he's not charged with murder. It seems like they would try and keep him in jail a little bit longer if that's what they really thought or could prove.
@FknNefFy2 ай бұрын
I'm not sure what I think actually happened but that seems like a plausible possibility is all I'm saying. Cuz I'm thinking if her arm was stuff up in the air and he went and put her in the water like that with her arm sticking up then that looks a little weird and you'd think he would put her a little lower in the water... I just can't imagine all that happening and him thinking he'd get away with it. It also doesn't say her arm was above her head. It just says it was up.

Yeah they obviously ruled out one and arrested one. 😬

1:01:04 the whole thing with the camera is this: if someone went to tamper with it, you at least would have video of when the tampering started. No video, on both cameras mean the person who have access deleted them or stop recording before the tampering.

If she had an overdose, at 30 you are responsible for your actions. I don't understand that general mindset of blame it on everybody but not the person themself. 🤔🤷🏼

Sounds like you have never been around a addicted person, addiction is a actual disease, Do you blame heart disease or diabetes on the person who gets it just because they are over 30

@leedavis3704 my kids dad is an addict. It's a choice. Drugs are strong and only the few choose sobriety. Using drugs is a choice, period

@@nmm913 addiction is a disease the choice comes in if you choose to get treatment for that disease, you can be angry at the disease, but it still does not make it any less a disease, pray for the father of your child to get help, and go to Al anon for your self or get into therapy because it’s also a family disease, you probably need treatment yourself your very very angry ! God Bless you And your children

@@leedavis3704 Don't make foul comparisons. The family wants to sue 'the whole world' when it is no one elses fault. It is not that hard to understand.

When I heard your 1st one and heard what he was saying I knew he did it or staged it. She was so beautiful when she was straight. The dope changes your looks even. She should have stayed in Colorado. So sad!

He talks a lot because he is higher than a kite. I sus him in the very beginning I am close to an addict unfortunately. They are capable of anything! All about “I” if u listen. They believe their lies! I’m soo sorry for her family! Thank you grizzly. I ❤ your shows

I remember the interview he gave and he was jumpy and giving so many details. It just seemed very staged, and he was trying to deflect away from it. It always struck me as very suspicious.
