no.. that doesn't make them dangerous at all. pointing them at people does. All you have to do is put a finger between the hammer and the firing pin so that if it slips, the hammer falls on your finger not the firing pin. And you do all of that while the muzzle is pointed in a safe direction. Nothing happened to him, HE made the decision to negligently handle a firearm. You don't point a gun at ANYBODY, loaded or not, unless you're in fear for your life or for another's life and you are ready to fire at the threat. BASIC firearm safety.

Maybe b/c I'm a certified NRA & GOA instructor. You just have to remember the rules. You ALWAYS maintain safe muzzle discipline- even with unloaded guns. Treat EVERY gun as if it's loaded.. Uh, let's be clear about something. Here in Texas, when you serve State Jail Time, it's served in a prison. You are housed in dorms with 50 to 51 other men. You have to do day for day. So if you get sentenced to a maximum of two years, you do two years no matter what. Unfortunately, I served State Jail Time, it's a felony and it sucks. I've also served "regular prison time" and a little "federal time". I would rather serve my time somewhere other than State Jail. There is NO good time in State Jail, and there is really no "catch a case" time either. You'd have to kill someone to catch a case in State Jail. I would be interested in hearing from anyone else who has served State Jail Time here in Texas? Like to get some opinions on State Jail here in Texas? Keep up the good work 23and1!

I knew a 15yr old girl who went to a party with a 20yr old. He was showing off with a gun and shot her in the arm pit. She died. She was a week away from getting her license. Friday she was at school with me. Monday gone. Over something avoidable. I still think about her.

I know it was an accident, but you should never have a gun pointed at anyone loaded or not. Sorry to hear about what happened to you. People make mistakes all the time. Keep moving foward homie.

Absolutely. I had this same thing happen but it went thru the floor.

Doubt it was actually directly pointed, he said they were in the car & he turned around to do it

In the military I was 11B I know better than to ever point or accidentally point my gun at all towards someone unless I cleared it and checked the weapon and cleared it point in a sam direction most of the time is down at the ground or in barell pull trigger to clear. I know accidents happen

@@erickiyoshiphillips2323 people that end up getting guns have no idea how to use it or don't understand the danger you could put yourself in or someone else. They should make it mandatory that if you buy a gun you have to take a basic class that teaches you how to use the weapon your getting. Taking it apart, cleaning it, shooting and reloading properly . I don't understand why the government is stupid enough to put a dangerous weapon into somebody's hands that can't even use it. What's the world coming to these days. Lol. So fucking crazy. 😂

@@djreaper8531 true even cops need way more training they only qualify their weapons once or twice annually from a few of cop buddies that I know from military but your right they should focus on education weapon safety etc lol
