To be honest, i think Ewers is good, but not great, and that Ohio State didn’t really care about him going back to Texas, as they had, and have a great quarterback room! I think Ewers knew he would not start, obviously, when C J Stroud was there, as well as other quarterbacks, that had more experience than he had! 🌰🏈

I wish he would have stayed too => but Quinn lost twice this year, twice the year before including to Washington who lost to eventual Natty winner Xichigan and what 3-4 losses the year prior to that => his first year starting…… Kyle was 12-1 at Ohio State and only lost to Xichigan at their place (not at home like CJ did not at a neutral site). Howard’s already lost 2 games this year and both losses were his fault => especially losing at HOME IN THE SHOE to a pedestrian Xichigan team. Kyle played better in his first season of starts at OSU => than Stroud and Howard did…..and better than Ewers did his first year of starting at Texas. But Buckeye Nation continues with the hate and the BS narrative……

Every statistic shows Will Howard has had a better single year at Ohio State than Kyle McCord did last year. Also that Oregon game wasn't his fault, Dan Lanning had to use some sketchy loops in the rule book to win and that was shown when Ohio State stomped Oregon in the Rose Bowl.

Stroud and Howard both had better teams, better surrounding casts and definitely better Offensive Lines => and yet McCord played better, performed better and his record was, is and will always be better……

@@13kimosabi13 Will Howard wasn't the reason we lost to Oregon the first time, it was the defense giving up explosive plays and Dan Lanning finding loop holes through the playbook that were legal but like at some point right after in that week was banned and is illegal now. Plus if you look at every single statistical category Will Howard has better stats at everything, completion percentage, quarterback rating, passing yards, passing touchdowns, rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, rating, etc... he has been better at everything than McCord was last year. I'd take Will Howard over McCord any day of the week.

I'll remind you Quinn came a year early to take advantage of the "Holy Kombucha" NIL deal. That threw a wrench into Days plans as far as who would start and When. If he would not have reclassified in High School he would still be a buckeye and starting for OSU. So he didn't stick with us it wasnt us not sticking with him.
