Je me régale toujours quand j'écoute cette chanson 🤪😜👍🤣😍 Ce que je remarque chez Charleen, c'est sa façon qu'elle a de bien prononcer les paroles de cette chanson: "Let me Sleep"!! Avoir de beaux clips et les chansons qui vont avec. Pour moi c'est important👍😜🤪 Avoir une seule oreille, ne me permet de de bien entendre la musique et les paroles d'une chanson. Si la musique est forte, elle se mélange aux paroles Mon cerveau est incapable de faire le tri. Tout entre par le même conduit auditif, donc par mon oreille gauche. Alors quand j'entends à la fois les paroles de cette chanson. C'est un double plaisir. Charleen sait faire entendre parfaitement les paroles de ses chansons et à la perfection 👍👍🤪😜😍🤣🤪🤪🤪😜😜 J'ai énormément de plaisir à fredonner en même temps que Charleen😜🤪🤣😍👍 Il est important de bien entendre les paroles d'une chanson. Dans mon cas, c'est très difficile de bien entendre une chanson, une émission, un film ou un reportage par exemple. Mon cerveau va entendre un son. Pour moi je pense avoir bien entendu et donc je vais répétée ce que je pense être bon !!! Mais ce n'est pas le cas malheureusement!!! C'est pour cela que je dis que Charleen a un don 👍😍🤣🤪😜 C'est beaucoup plus agréable de bien entendre et prendre plaisir à chanter en même temps qu'elle😜🤪🤪😍👍👍😍🤪😜 On se sent moins ridicule 👍🤪😜😍 Ce dont je me dis souvent. Il ne faut pas avoir honte de son handicap.. C'est nôtre propre corps et nous ont sommes responsables. Il faut faire en sorte qu'il ne soit pas un obstacle et nous empêche d'avancer dans la vie. Je sais qu'il y a des enfants et adultes, qui ont de très gros handicaps. Je dirais toujours qu'il y a bien pire que mes propres handicaps. J'ai une passion, celle de l'écriture et c'est quelque chose qui me tient à cœur depuis l'âge de 14 ans. C'est l'âge où j'ai commencé à écrire un livre, puis 2, 3 et 4 !!!!..... Le fait d'être malvoyante, est mon plus grand défi de ma vie de chaque jour. A part l'écriture il y a la musique..... Je remercie chaleureusement Charleen pour toutes ses chansons que je peux écouter et lire quand j'ai besoin d'être sûr de ce que j'entends. Les 2 se complètent magiquement bien 😍😜🤪👍

I remember hearing this on the radio quite a lot, presumably when it was new, and then at some point catching the video on TV - I remember thinking something like "Hey, he looks like Peter Kay!" and least jokingly thinking to myself that the song was sung by him, despite likely "knowing" deep down that it wasn't. It's only this year (I think) that I end up rediscovering the song, and finding out that it actually *was* Peter Kay after all.

I first heard this song about six months ago and have just discovered who sings it. In my mind it was a duet with a sort of black Pavarotti in a dinner jacket and bow tie and a younger Aretha Franklin in a billowing ball dress. I couldn't be more surprised to find out what the singers really look like! This is a beautful classic. Where the male vocal begins at 0:38 is the most moving part of my personal video - here the previously-hidden black Pavarotti is suddenly revealed by a spotlight. Are the references to "Peter Kay" to the comedian Peter Kay, and is that him in a long-haired wig? ;)
