To all of you, who claim moral superiority, and cast innuendos about like slop to a hog. Get over yourselves! Each of you, If given the opportunity and at no cost! Would jump at the chance to hunt on a Lease or Private Property. If I paid the Tab for you to hunt, at a Ranch where you could hunt *fair chase* quality, above average Deer. I dare say, less than 5 would refuse. (And only then, because I called you out on it) Managing a property is expensive, but If they're well fed, have water sources, and basic needs like bedding areas, travel corridors, cover, and protection from the weather. They have no reason to leave, and that! gives some of us another avenue for pursuing our passion, For a price. Which unfortunately, for some will prevent their participation. To offset their costs, Land Owners must charge people for access or the dream ends. It's also a straight up lie, by those of you claim these are high fence hunts where the deer are kept in confined areas then led to slaughter like a chicken to Colonel Saunders. (While there are so called canned hunts, It's not these) What it boils down to (most of you who bitch & whine about it) is you resent the fact you don't have the means, to also take part. Because someone else can afford it, and you can't! pisses you off too no end.(Jealousy rears it's ugly head) So you look for reasons to disparage those who can. Hunters have it rough enough from outside forces, without added condemnation from other Hunters. PETA---ASPCA just to mention two. Spend millions every year slowly picking away at our rights to Hunt. Restrictions, Regulations, Harassment, and Threats are constantly eating away at our ability to enjoy the simple pleasure of spending time afield with our Friends and Family. Sharing and passing down the legacy, that was passed on to us. I get that you're not happy with the lot you've been given, but to add fuel to the fire, helps no one. If you don't agree, don't watch. Find another channel. If were not careful, we'll all lose it........

@davekimbler23085 жыл бұрын
Well I guess shooting a deer is shooting a deer but that ain’t hunting in my book that’s target practice. Ya pay enough and they come to you ! Try up in Canada or the north woods of Alaska they make you work for it ! Really nice bucks ! I’ll give you that !
@Stonehorn815 жыл бұрын
I dunno, I’m in Canada, and I kill 3-4 deer a year pretty easily. We have no shortage. I can get two in NB and 2 in Quebec, plus a moose in Quebec, with a draw in NB, and three black bear a year. Sure they might be hunting on ranches, but getting it done isn’t hard if you work at it. I run about 30 game cameras from April to November.
@davekimbler23085 жыл бұрын
Clary Carrier you just said they make you work for it ! In Minnesota I get my limit most years and that includes bonus tags and special hunts but you read trails and signs , you wait patiently for that nice one to step out and you pull the trigger but that’s only half of it you know you field dress it you drag it out you hang it then about 4-7 days later ( depending on temp. ) you process it and wrap and then freeze it ! I usually eat the straps that day ! That’s why I said it’s target practice, all they do is pull the trigger !

@MrRocko155 жыл бұрын
@@carsonsmith2530 It really is, also big bucks are usually nocturnal. unlike their bucks that just walk around in broad daylight. usually a sign of deer farming, because the bucks don't have to learn natural predator avoidance. It's still entertaining, but I'm more impressed by the hunter who goes out and gets a good buck the ole fashion way lol.
@mattmyers13455 жыл бұрын
If you’ve never had a high fenced ranch over 3k acres you wouldn’t know what it’s truly like. Often the trophies won’t come out for entire seasons at a time. Just because the footage is edited to show the highlights doesn’t mean that all the deer walk out and beg to be shot. You can be skunked on hunts and see zero deer. Cows will ruin hunts if you lease them out on your lands. Lots of things play into it.

I have never hunted before so I don’t know if what I’m about to say is inaccurate or not. But I’m highly interested in hunting and wish I knew someone that could mentor me, however I’ve watched a lot of deer hunter videos and I get the sense that these guys are just rich playboys going out to a manufactured farm/ranch where there’s already 100s of Bucks just waiting to be drilled. It feels like there’s no competition. It feels very canned and fake. It’s like it’s not a true hunt. The other hunters I’ve watched seem real. They’re out there by themselves or just have one friend or son and have tracked a specific deer for a long time, like years. And I can feel the raw emotions pouring out of these “true” hunters when they accomplish that goal they made far in advance of the actual hunt. I want to learn to hunt so bad, really bad, but I don’t wanna do it like the Buck Commanders. Am I wrong?
