Texas and Chinese Taipei played in the Third Place Game at the 2023 Little League World Series.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

In a fair world, the winner of this game would play the winner of California/Curacao in a grand final. Given that both teams only had one loss in a double elimination tournament, this makes too much sense. Alas, the world is not fair. Oh well, probably a good age for the kids to learn that.

So by the end of the tournament, using only the records, it's CA-TW tied for 1st with 1 loss each, TX-Curacao second with 2 losses. The tournament organizers have failed these kids with a bracket that hurts winner side teams (TX and TW) because they ignored the double elimination rule at the US/International finals.

At 11:25-11:26, as the center fielder is picking up the ball and the runner is still three strides from 3rd base, the 3rd base coach is on the outfield side of 3rd base and pointing to home. The coach is out of position and should be as close to home as the coach's box allows so the runner can clearly see him and 3rd base. With NO CLEAR stop signal, this out is entirely the fault of the 3rd base coach.

LL changed the birthday rules so that no 13 yr old can play in this division. Chinese Taipei had 3 suspect players, one of which is a 16 yr old (the pitcher). Research it. He’s playing under a fake birth certificate. Their cheating will be uncovered because the CCP nationalists will embarrass them. Don’t be fooled in thinking China is t at the root of all this. They wanted this to be a dominant LLWS win on a national stage as a precursor to their take over of Taiwan. Since the coaching failed to get them there (CCP mandates all fault lies with managers when a company fails), they will embarrass the program by exposing their lies. Watch.
