Evangel has an enrollment of 650 kids total in the whole school. Allen has an enrollment of 5,100. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Evangel has 14 State Titles and 1 National Championship that’s why this was even a game. Evangel always play big schools with big competition and still bring it.

Hahaha, You keep dreaming. The Mater Dei team was one of the best teams in the past 25 to 30 years, you have to go back to Dallas Carter of 1988 to find a team comparable. Mater Dei would beat Allen by 28 points. Img would throttle Allen be favored by 14 points but would beat them by 21, they would be up for the game. Maybe Allen plays Gorman and wins but that game could go either way.

No, Trinity was good that year and they went 10-0 with an average margin of victory by 23 points. It's just that by the time they reached the playoffs the injuries had decimated the team. Also, there was a 90 min rain delay in that De La Salle game. Not only did the rain limit De La Salle in what they could do (they are a pure running team)they were forced to get out of there element and pass the ball (wet field), it also rattled them for they were still with all of this a better team than Trinity. They dropped 3 wide open touchdowns and missed 2 field goals, Had it been better conditions and no delays De La Salle was clearly better. That's why they didn't drop that much in the polls

SO its true...Not only are they scared to play the big dawgs around the country i.e. Mater Dei, Bergan Catholic, Don Bosco, Bishop Gorman, IMG, St Edwards, Moller, Bellvue. Haha Allen has a very soft almost laughable regular season, Sham schedule for a top tier team. People outside Texas looking at this would find such a schedule laughable for a top team. They should have on their regular season schedule a top Florida or California team. Also, they should play teams like Lake Travis, Desoto, Katy and Cy Fair every year.
