This is a GREAT confidence builder for the Longhorns. Getting over the 5 set hump right before the NCAA tournament was so crucial. The manner in which they came back in the 5th set is a great sign. Doing it without Madi is the cherry on the cake of our day!!! All around a confidence (gritty) win!!!!

Texas needed Madi. This showed it. It also showed that Devin should be starting over Jenna. She got 19 kills on 40 attacks! Jenna couldn’t even do that (even tho she got double digit kills today). Way to fight back in that fifth set Texas! Way to win for your seniors!!

This game should prove that Devin should be OH2 over Jenna! It’s the last game of the SEC and Devin played less this season than Jenna but somehow did so much better than her (like always). I think JE should stop playing favorites and use his brain on how Jenna isn’t a leader like he wanted her to be. He wanted her to be the next leader in case Madi isn’t doing well/feeling well like this match. Sorry Jenna isn’t a scary player, but Devin is

💯 what we have all been saying all season. Glad she got to finally prove herself! Obvious to me that JW is never getting taken out so….at least she had some solid defense in the back row and a couple aggressive kills.

This Texas team does NOT scare anybody! STOP with the ridiculously unacceptable service errors...JUST STOP IT!! Service returns were poor (Wenaas, Halter) - saved only by Miss bad serving issues. Middle was uncovered on serves and hits from Miss. I know Ames is only a freshman and she flashes well and does some things very well, but she is really slow to the block and a bit clunky in general. Texas is STILL playing the critical points poorly. They got a bit better from the bad stretch at home, but have regressed again. They are missing "on court" leadership even if they do get "good plays" from several players. They aren't going to find it this year.

I've asked that same question? Why video the game if you're not going to show the complete game. I know someone said it has something to do with "rights". I'm not sure what that means.

Well at least Tx was finally able to win a 5 setter at home. Don`t want to just be negative now that the regular season is over. Love these girls hope they can keep playing for awhile. Give Ole Miss credit came to Greg and played really well. But I feel like it was a big adjustment for Tx to get used to playing without Madi.

She woke up sick the day of the match. Came to the gym and warmed up before the match, but was not well enough to play. She stayed on the sidelines and wore a mask. After the match, she picked up Devin and carried her around the court.

@@PrairieDogTown Glad you let us know what Madi did after the match. Saw that in another video. That’s why Madi was co-captain in her first year at TX. She makes people around her better.
