Cat Osterman is living vicariously through her (UT pitcher from 2002-2006). Always got us to the CWS but didn’t have a supporting cast to win the natty. A good ace can get you that far but it can’t win you it all.

It also sucks when your defense can't make simple plays error on second started the rally and the run down on 3rd these girls at this level ever heard of pump fake your throw trust me it helps ALOT on run downs smh.

Canady pitches lights out and your defense gives up the game the error on second starts the rally and then shortstop gets caught cheating towards second because she wants a head start for a double play thats why that ball got thru and then the run down on 3rd way to easy these girls ever heard of pump faking your throws it helps ALOT there's no reason why she should have been safe.

@@thedink5 5 hits though. There were a few innings that Texas stranded multiple runners. It didn't feel like Stanford batters really threatened Kavan. Canady got out of trouble in a few innings but in the end a few Stanford mistakes was all it took for Texas to win.

Even though the play at home seemed to be the back breaker… The most unbelievable situation was immediately after that when Texas had runners on second and third with no outs, and could not get another run across the plate… That’s what I would be more concerned with now if I were Texas… if you have your foot on their throat, you Gotta keep it there and add to your score, not pop the ball up three times in a row to infielders… Good luck, horns… hook ‘em!

They were going against the best pitcher in the country and Player of the Year. It was not like Stanford sent their worst pitcher to the mound that day. I do question Stanford's decision to have her pitch 4 games in 5 days with no relief.

Just a horrible, horrible rundown play. Players are taught from the first time that they are even strong enough to pick up a ball and bat, that you ALWAYS run the runner BACK to the base that they came from.
