This week, Brandon Baldauf of Hawk Eye Bonsai joins us again as he shows Los all about Texas Yamadori. We traveled to Llano, Texas (about 1.5 hours away from Austin) to meet Brandon to learn this beautiful land is full of naturally dwarfed Cedar Elms. Brandon shows us what to look for in a tree as well as showing the safe way of removing a tree from the wild. We also get to check out sweet rocks, slabs, and moss.

Texas cedar elm , and also Texas persimmon, are some of my favorite trees. Very common in our area. Great video!

ive done it, but never took a large shovel because there was no soil, mostly rock , always had a spray bottle. bagged the wet root part right away.
