Nice to see you hooking up a few nice ones. That red looked close to slot as well. I probably would have had to half shell that too.

So a patreon page is really u selling ur spots right?
@TexasAllWaterFishing Жыл бұрын
🤣🤣 No absolutely not. Although after kayak fishing for nearly 12 years I can tell anyone just about any place they want to put their kayak in from Sabine to Surfside. For me my patreon page isn't about selling spots or if that's all you want is spot then don't join mine. I do provide some of that information especially if I'm kayak fishing because honestly after being on the same waters for over a decade they're all my spots LOL. Nothing was handed to me, I didn't know anyone that kayak fished or even fished when I bought my 1st kayak. Which was a used rental 10 foot inside that I bought for $100. But no one showed me anything, they was very few Facebook groups then as well. So at first I struggled a lot to figure it out and that why I wanted to create a group for people that want learn to fish or better understand fishing. Of course I kayak fish as well but most of my patrons don't kayak fish. So the page is really to help people with any learning curve, give them insight of water conditions, baits I use, bait swimming in the water, anything that I can think that might be helpful for them to have success. I don't like telling people where to fish, I want them to figure it out, it's what makes you a better fisherman. Of course I might share where I'm fishing but just to give them a general idea what I see in a body of water. And I also have people that are much better at catching fish than I am, which I'm average at best. I try to off them extra footage, maybe out takes that are funny or dumb stuff I do on the water, and at the same time try to create a community among all of us. I made a patrons only Facebook group that's private and they can share pics, info, and maybe even invite each other fishing. I also toss open invites when I can, typically it's during the week because that's when I'm on the water but with warmer days I'm sure I'll start tossing some wade fishing days in the surf under the right conditions. And next week I'm starting to live stream with the group the goal is twice a month just for Q&A and if there's just a couple people on then cool. But yea it's more than just spots and of course this is very time consuming so those that want to watch me be successful and continue to be able to provide content regularly to KZbin they make a small contribution.
