Nice idea! Must say though, always put a 1/2 bath in the shop, or just inside the door to the house, ya don't want dirty guys traipsing through the house to use the bathroom. I am looking for ideas for a build and this is giving me ideas, thanks!

@16:50 When I remodeled my bath I put in only a hand wand with a slide bar to adjust the height and the plumbing for it is in line with the diverter so the hose doesn't wrap around itself it is mostly straight all the time and one big advantage of having it come out from the wall that low is that it makes it great for washing dogs in the shower. It gives me lots of reach around them. That's a pro tip right there for pet caretakers. I like the idea of the washer and dryer in the master bath.... unless someone is sick trying to sleep and wash must get done. Put the washer and dryer in the pantry with a dirty clothes cabinet next to it that doubles as a space for folding towels, etc. and have a small door inside the Master Bath to pass dirty clothes to the backside of that cabinet. If you place it right the guest bedrooms could also toss clothes and towels into the cabinet.

Great construction AND an equally well done video! Here's something most vloggers get wrong that you folks got really right - your sound quality is incredible! Your outside shots all had lots of wind, and yet you both were on mic with zero wind noise and no visible mics. Inside the shop you were in a very live space - yet your vocals were crisp and clean. Wow - you are head and shoulders over most people who do these vids so a tip of the hat for a very well made video! If you don't mind, please run down the equipment you used - I am so impressed!

Sorry missed this comment a couple years back, in short we have used the rode mic go for several years, our camera is the Sony a7III and A6600 drone is the mavic 3. Now days we will occasionally use smaller cameras like the insta360 just for fun shots. Appreciate the kind words! It’s a lot of work but we have a dedicated guy Drew who puts all this together for us since the beginning

Beautiful. Looks huge to me coming from New Jersey by the Atlantic Ocean. Think for me you need a huge pantry in the kitchen and bigger closets. Not enough storage in the home. Should be a quick fix..

Very nice house! I’m not a fan of the laundry area in the master bath. But I guess if you don’t have any kids that’s fine. My 20 y/o does the laundry in my house. Love the big closet. The new owner must. It own many dresses. Lol I’m lookin at the height of that shop and that red wall. Man I’d have me some shelves on there with an attached sliding ladder for all my shop stuff.
