Bro, these country reporter videos are so wholesome. I'm glad there's people like this in the world. And I'm glad these videos are made.

This place is a true Houston staple. I met Irma when I lived nextdoor to her son and he invited me to his Mother's restaurant. He now manages the other downtown grille location and Miss Irma still runs her restaurant. If you have never been there, you are really missing out! You can taste the love in everything she serves!!!

This place was on our list of food places to eat at on our road trip through the states. We are Canadian up in Manitoba and even we've heard of this place. Im hoping after this Covid crap we still get the chance to.

Wow, this is an inspiration to me. I lost my Wife of 40 years on Feb 2nd 2021 and have been going downhill, don't think I will open a restaurant but this gives me hope !! Props to this woman because I know the pain she went thru...

A truly uplifting story about Irma. Not only has she battled tragedy and heartache, but pulling herself up and being able to make a success of her life, is truly an amazing achievement. Much respect to this amazing lady.

Interesting. No menus. Next to Minute Maid Park. Obviously a lot of business. How is it possible? You would have to train waiters differently, or so I would imagine. I know this woman, who memorizes every tables' order, in the grill/bar at this hotel in Amsterdam. You can't work there if you cannot remember dozens of orders, because I don't think they let you write orders down. Been there maybe 80 times. Never seen anyone write anything down. There was this Scottish dude, who was really nice, friendly, very approachable, but he had problems remembering. He didn't last too long. So. If you take away the menus, and the place is packed, you would have to train people who are maybe not like super advanced or at home in restaurants, but very much into THAT restaurant and that would mean Irma. That dude said that he would be eating there at least once a week, for the rest of his life. That's loyalty. Jeez.
