I love the home, the build, the location, and your idea of an American really living a life in the Philippines. One of a kind content. Don't forget, trolls have no life. 💯

Mel, I had an uncle who did the same with his yard in Minnesota... Some of the bigger rocks, he'd cut and polish... When you live around water, there are plenty to collect that have a variety of colors, sizes, and contours... Over time, the yard just gets more and more beautiful as you strategically place them... A great hobby to have! On to the pool area... Another project requiring vision! What you're describing sounds super! Hope all well, TC! 👍😎👍

The compound is really taking on character. However, I think that there will always be projects to improve what is already an amazing place! Also Melinda, the work you do with the stones, shells, those planting areas you create all have a theme and contribute greatly to the charm of your place! Great job!

Hi James and Melinda, Mostly I am content to watch videos from channels I enjoy and will very rarely offer comment. I for one (pretty sure many others will agree) appreciate the work and thoughtfulness you put into your channel and the videos you present. I grew up doing construction both residential and commercial, and enjoy seeing how you apply what I'm familiar with in the US to the Philippines environment. Some of the challenges you deal with I would expect, other's catch me a little by surprise. But once again, I appreciate you taking the time to think through the "why" of these challenges and frustrations. Then relay them in your videos in such a calm and even handed manner. I think people comment because in some way they are moved by the content you guys provide. There are always some people who view life in a negative light and their interactions with others usually reflect that negativity, but even then your content moved them or they would have remained silent. Most comments I see for you videos (I honestly don't look at comments that much though) are supportive and appreciative. And the advice offered is given in that supportive and appreciative manner as well. From your responses, you see that too. Don't let the folks taking potshots at your accomplishments and the life you have worked hard to build take away from your enjoyment of that life. Sorry for this long ramble, I'll close with a quote: "If you can't make everybody happy. Piss them off equally. It's only fair." Jeffism #11 You keep doing you. Thank you Jeff

GREAT RESPONSE AND COMMENT!!! I think you for writing. Write more often because you seem like the type that I would enjoy input from. Thank you sincerely , Happy Advanced Thanksgiving.

Speaking of watching commercials I normally try to but tonight I couldn't stand the lipstick one. Normally they aren't too bad even the longer ones because I can set my phone down and take care of some other things. Then just rewind any of the video I miss. I know you have no control over what KZbin puts on there. I felt bad because even though I'm not a cash support of the channel I try to support by at least leaving the commercials play to the end. God bless and stay safe.
@TexasFilipinoАй бұрын
Oh you dont have to cash support us nor feel bad. It's just getting ridiculed by people for something that they can watch for free with no complaints from us. They should watch and be happy yet instantly turn on you because be damned I get rewarded in some small way. LOL. I ALWAYS APPRECIATE YOU my GREAT VIEWERS AND COMMENTERS

Yup, some good thoughtful murals in places would look nice, need a professional artist,?, perhaps a student from art college might be interested?, especially along that red sheeting wall along the canteen?!. I for one James, appreciate all the work in producing the finished video, ,,( including one thing especially, when playing sped up video, adding audio playing at normal speed after. Some people just use the original audio and just allow the audio to run sped up, lazy in my opinion. Of course ideally( as in making a movie to go into the cinema). You would need to plan the whole days shooting and create, a storyboard ( for example scene 38 ( mukmuk trips over a coconut!! Lol).. Sad KZbin doesn't seem to look after quality creators as much as they should. Good idea, to try and create extra revenue streams! Might suggest for those folks with unlimited data packages. When not actually watching a video. To simply play in the background the playlists{ adverts and all!). Just a suggestion! All the best to all down there.Roger
