I was looking at these on Amazon and reading the reviews. One was a really long, detailed, thorough review. He mentioned that he had a power failure that was off for about 15 minutes. He said when the power came back on it resumed operation with all settings retained. He also said he did 2 clutches, the first with some humidity but ran it between 25 and 50%, and had 100% hatch rate, then the second with no added humidity (naturally ran about 25 - 28%) and also had 100% hatch rate. No extra humidity at the end! Ever heard of such a thing? I'm skeptical... 🤷🏼‍♂️ Wish you could reply to a review and ask questions or discuss, like you can here...lol

You should really take the turner out when they hatch. The chicks can get their feet caught underneath. And you should take any explodes eggs out asap or they’ll contaminate the others.

The old incubator convert it to digital add a fan and 60 watt light bulb for heater it will work great for you I have one that did I have no problems with it

being fully developed might have saved it? interesting story; I had a breeder of golden pheasants want to borrow my little banty hen my buddy moved in when his family acreage sold. I can guarantee you she hadn't been near a rooster for at least seven months, and the guy brought her back after using her for one set, with a little banty hen baby, my new "poor mans' parrot" as it was now winter and she had to be inside. Bantys are semi-wild but how that one egg was fertile (they look like pheasant eggs so he didn't click) WE have no idea. No rooster at either place within miles.

Not sure but I am sure there is a app that could be used to time any incubator if you set it. You could even use the alarm app already on your phone. Now if his incubator connects to wifi then it is possible it could have app that directly works with it. Like my window unit here by frigidare has wifi and I can control it from anywhere in the world I am at through the internet.

Just use the top of that old one in a bigger box on blocks that way you can water an feed them an they should stay under it, cause your gonna have a couple
