Look at the fun looking thru all the old stuff that hadnt been looked at in ages...a little sad someones grandma had her only purchased earrings in life and no one cared to keep them or her note..tsk tsk..thats how a lot of people think these days..anyway you saved it from trash and we all got to look at it and share a few minutes and thats worth more than the price!!

Hi Margaret, the black oval brooch with the painted design reminds me of pieces my mom has from her grandmothers. It may be jet in a silver setting. It possibly is turn of the previous century jewelry from Germany/Austria. I say that because her grandmothers were both German and had some very European looking items. Worth looking into by a jewelry expert.

Your copper set is unsigned Renoir. That is a known dangle of theirs. I have a copper jewelry book, I'll see if that set is in there. I would definitely keep the set together in this case.

For those who cant find such a rare Item I found a used slightly make up box on FB marketplace in a diamond aluminum strong box style with handles and lock, it opens the same way and its black lined, great from travel, security and display seeing this ill add mirrors PS seller wanted 60 but took 40, I didn't know about the values ( they're not that expensive new) just no more Chinese cardboard mouse fur ring boxes that fall apart and rot in a month

Hi. The "stone" necklace and earring set is made of semi-precious tree agates which are as valuable as a lot of other semi-precious gems. By the way, they're not vintage. Agate jewelry is more modern; since it has come into popularity in recent years. Also, by the way, the agate necklace and earrings are my favorites in this collection of mostly junk that you bought.
