Great idea. How much power consumption is added when AEF is used?

Hi Myungjun, thanks for your question. The AEF circuit itself consumes 10-30 mA of VCC current. With a 5-V external VCC (using VCCX pin), the additional power consumption of AEF is small: 5 V times 20 mA which equals to approximately 100 mW. If you are using a normal VCC regulator, VCC current is sourced from VIN current, so as VIN increases, the additional power used by the AEF circuit will also increase.

Thanks for video, it has been good work. I want to ask you a question. How do we determine value of filter elements ? Is there a document which has been prepared by Tİ ?

Hi Enis, thanks for your question. There are several resources on how to calculate the inductor and capacitor values for AEF. You should be able to use the WEBENCH® Power Designer and calculator on the LM25149-Q1 product folder page (bit.ly/3u1q5kl) or the EMI filter section of the data sheet (bit.ly/3u0pjnK) to find the value.
