Listened to this album every single day when I purchased the cassette! I was a senior in high school and I had just met my girlfriend who is now my wife! What an amazing era it was! So very unfortunate that the youth today is too hung up on bullshit politics to embrace the good time life can be!

@@melissawright1979 3 months after Pat’s death, my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. I’m a huge fan of Mr. Big and my husband would always get me tickets to their shows at B.B. Kings in NYC. My husband is young and is now in his 50’s but I was devastated by the diagnosis. He’s doing well though but I do feel like I’m living life waiting for the bottom to fall out.

I went to a meet and greet at Blockbuster Music in Kansas City, MO in '93. Bump Ahead may been just been released, its been a loooong minute since then. They were playing at Westport that night, we ended up getting free tickets because of my best friends big boobed girlfriend. Anyway, I shook Paul Gilberts hand and mine almost disappeared. HUGE hands. I told Eric I was in the Army and we had a mini-conversation about it. I remember him telling me about his dad being an Army officer at Ft. Leavenworth right up the road from there. (The actual post, NOT the prison) Anyway, come to find out years later he was and is real big on veteran support.

I do admire the bass on one of these tracks, trouble is that bass solos don't really work we are a backing instrument and can and do put subtle licks in, but mainly its the beat with the drums .but keep Rockin still got all my bass guitar
