Maritza, I completely understand. I have taken three times and failed. The last two times by only one question. I have been teaching since 2000 and moved from Colorado. Because I have not passed this last component, I was terminated and did not receive a contract for next year. I have studied so hard and completed the 240 tests with an average of 95%

Unfortunately, I’ve used 240 Tutoring every time to prepare for the Social Studies portion of this exam and while it helped me pass all the other subjects, I STILL cannot pass this portion of the exam. It’s honestly so disheartening because I LOVE teaching and I have a HUGE passion for it and for my students! The fact that I CANNOT pass this portion after 3 tries already and only have 4 more months to pass this and the PPR and STR... it’s devastating. All of this hard work and passed all the other subjects on the first try... and still have not passed this portion. Prayers needed 😔🙏🏼

It’s cuz the shit that they tell you to study isn’t on test I’ve taken it three times!! Ain’t no way in hell a dam 1st-6th grader can tell me 10% of what’s on that test let alone a teacher from today…if you notice they have coaches to do history classes now…also living in Texas you know how they are with history…they don’t want it to be taught

FYI when you are talking about Columbian exchange it shows 1492 but the speaker says 1842.

My friend and i have both been using your 240 tutoring that you pay for and she just took her test and failed and told me that the things she studied were not on the test. This video gives an overview of the #1, most important, if-you-can-only-study-this-one-thing overview. Our study guide covers each tested standards of the exam; if you could sum up exactly what to study in a 7 minute video, it wouldn't be a difficult test. So the video is meant to be an introductory resource- not a comprehensive one
