you sound robotic because you're reading a script and you're not great at acting naturally when reading, like politicians or news reporters or voice actors. not your fault acting or reading acting is not for everyone.

That last option was the bomb for me! I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to get more voices for Balabolka, but everything that was recommended on the Internet was outdated, obsolete, or just didn't work. Then you pointed out at the end of this video that you can save an input text in a voice of one's choice file directly through one of those options in the Save Audio File window (I chose IBM Watson) from a wide choice of voices (I chose James), not only the artificial-sounding MS David and MS Zira! This means I can now record my own audiobooks from text and epub files! Thank you Kevin! 😂😁

Awesome! Balabolka is the best part of this video. Also folks can use various natural-sounding browser extensions to read webpages (but they're all time-limited or character-limited). Here are my fave chrome extensions: - Speech my text - Text to speech that brings productivity (aka "Intelligent Speaker") - Natural Reader Text to Speech

This is a beautifully done video tutorial. It concisely presented exactly what I wanted to know quickly without wasting my time on extraneous banter. I had already spent a few hours investigating text to speech when I found your video and got all I wanted to know in a mere 12 minutes. The computer screen on the video was clear and readable. The demonstrations were concise. It was nice of you to take the time to make this tutorial and efficiently help others. Watching it made me think about making a few videos of my own about things I know about (like Photoshop) so I can help others the way you do.

Great video that has afforded the beneficiaries important and powerful avenues for recordings. Most importantly for me is language learning. Also very significant is the demonstration of how to use Audacity to record to the system. Of course One Note and the Russian app are wonderful options. I have been searching for an efficient way to record in Anki, the learning tool, and have been surprised and disappointed to find obfuscation and chicanery in abundance. It is sad to see that the motives for teaching, or going through the motions, are often any thing but imparting knowledge to the knowledge seeker. A talented teacher is born, not made. Thanks.

Thanks. Your voice is not robotic - it is just articulate and consistent! Textaloud mp3 program is the best - big files into mp3 with full control over pauses -- which I love because I find a 1-2 second pause after a sentence gives my brain a quick chance to reflect and store.
