Today we came with a new topic of textiles “WELT AND PIQUES WEAVE DESIGN”
In this video you will learn What is welt weave, welt and pique fabric uses and what are welt and pique weaves
This is one of the weave design used in fabric construction welt weave are the weaves in which simple horizontal lines appears on the surface
There are three types of welt weave design
• Loose back ordinary welt weave
• Loose back Wadded welt weave
• Fast back Wadded welt weave
The Loose back ordinary welt weave uses two types of ends that is one face ends and another stitching ends
In this video you will learn the method of step-by-step construction of welt and piques fabric structure, pique design process to create a very attractive effect on the fabric
Also you will learn about the loose back wadded welt weave which is second type of welt weave
This is used to make the welt effect more prominent and also to increase the weight of welt fabric
Another type is welt weave fast back wadded welt weave, in this type we create a variation in the welt and pique weave design
The fast back type is used to give strength in the welt fabric, this effect is created in the welt fabric structure
