In Excel, we have to create a User Defined Function for this purpose. I have done a video on this topic on my another channel. Search for SPLITTER function to find it. At the same time. GoogleSheets already have a function called SPLIT designed for this purpose.

Use conditional formatting for the same. Select the Cells > Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cell Rules > Greater than > Enter Zero the input box and select the required formatting rule for positive values. For highlighting negative values Select the Cells > Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cell Rules > Less than > Enter Zero the input box and select the required formatting rule for positive values.

Both TEXTJOIN and CONCAT (CONCATENATE) Functions are used to join text strings. In my opinion TEXTJOIN is more powerful as it can insert a separator in between the concatenated Text strings.

TEXTJOIN function won't be available in Excel 2007 and cannot be added to the same. You should have Excel 2019 or Office 365 Subscription to make use of TEXTJOIN or CONCAT function.
