Last year in may, while at school we were discussing how we would celebrate his birthday which was coming in a couple days. My bestfriend was so excited, she was glowing with happiness. Cooper died later that Evening due to an accident. I remember crying with her over call....

For those who don't wanna watch the rest, i'm the paragraph guy and i got you. Shortly after she told him she had to cancel her plans and he was sad, the reason being is that bert was cutely sleeping on her and she didn't want to wake him up, they then talked for a little, she would always call him after his business meetings to tell him hi and let him see Bert, but sadly a little bit before he turned 3 she had to put him down (she didn't say why), at the end she texted him a picture of the sky and asked "Do you see Bert up there?". Very sad ending 😢

My dog bear died when he was around 1 1/4 years old, he was everything, we had gotten him during covid in 2021 when he was so small and just 8 weeks old, his birthday is on may 5th, so it’s happening on Sunday. He died of some rare cancer and despite me constantly telling my parents there was something wrong with him because I just felt like there was, my parents pushed it away and just told me he was fine, well a few months later it was determined he had a tumor inside of him that just kept growing, it was treatable but my parents thought that he wasn’t strong enough for chemotherapy, i thought he was strong enough, i begged all summer long before school started again, a week before school started in 2022, one day he got sick and i don’t fully remember, but im pretty sure he was puking and some other stuff, we took him to the emergency vet and he stayed there for a day on fluids and came back and seems fine, then the next day his stomach filled up with blood again, we took him to the emergency vet and they couldn’t do much and suggested we put him down, that day was my 2nd to last day with him, and i just cried all day long after we took him home, everything was a blur of just crying, i layed down with him that night and fell asleep with him just curled up next to me in my arms, i woke up and he was upstairs with my parents, my mom didnt let me be with him when he got put down and i missed being able to say goodbye to him one last time, i was at my dads house when he got put down, and i swear like 5 minutes before i called my mom to see if i could say goodbye to my sweet dog, i saw my dog walking around my tv room and then hopping up on the couch to lay down next to me, i always feel like hes with me, right beside me laying down just like he always did. After he died, it was also a dark period of my life where my grades dropped significantly and I just stopped caring about a lot, and I had lots of suicidal thoughts. I always cry when I think of this exact story. I hope others that have had something similar to this happen, know that even when things seem so rough you can barely manage anything, it gets better, and if you are ever feeling like you want to end your life, please seek help or talk to someone you trust like a friend or family member.
