You are such an amazing teacher Shelley! I live in Oakville, I spend a lot of time in the Azores. When I get back I would love to take one of your in person classes😊

I love the purple rock, the effect was slight but perfect ... and the one below it , and the one next to it, and .. Love this rock lesson, great realistic textures. Must say I love the tree trunk effect also, thanks much, you are a very good teacher. I literally did not notice the construction noise until you mentioned it, I raised kids so I guess I got good at blocking out. HeeHee

Super informative and fun to go through these techniques! Your additional tips about those techniques were invaluable! BTW several viewers have asked about the palette you use…I have the same palette. It’s a SPEEDBALL SPD-5771 COLORWHEEL PALETTE with 21 wells. It’s a useful palette layout. The material is surprisingly resilient given that it is a lightweight plastic.

Hello Shelly...what brand of paint to you use most often
@shelleypriorfineart2 жыл бұрын
Hi Joe. Most often I am using DaVinci watercolours. The list of my typical materials (brushes, paints, paper) is also on my website.

What kind of brush it that your using please?
@shelleypriorfineart2 жыл бұрын
It's a squirrel hair brush (brand is Biaelk). I also used a small synthetic fan brush for spatter.

I was excited to hear the actual name of the palette. I was searching while you were painting. Found it on their site, and they were sold out. Boo hoo.
