Oooh so many fun patterns in this video! I love the Lou Cardigan, it's simple but so elegant! I also appreciate the categorization by high neck vs. v neck cardigans!

Yes!! I’m thinking of making a summer top with the Lou stitch pattern now too 🤩

Thank you for nice suggestions. It so helps to hear what others see in the different patterns. Wanted to see the Vest as a sweater, but the link appears uncomplete.

Ah so so sorry about that - I have added it to the description now! The maker is aalinahmih on Instagram. I also added another alternative that was sent to me as well which looks very similar ☺️

I love these! I am really loving cardigans right now and I actually have two textured ones on the needles. I have the cosmo cardigan (broken rib and a bit of cabling) for me and the korshavn cardigan for (basket weave) a friend

Oooo good to know! Such a lovely cardigan and a difficult choice to pick between the toggle buttons or the tie - they’re both so pretty!

Thank you for the inspiring video 🙏😊. I am knitting the Samper Cardigan -V neck by Knit Purl Girl, which has plain stockinette stitch. But later this year I think to cast on the Billie Cardigan by Sari Nordlund 😊❤

Oooo I want to knit the semper cardigan one day! The Billie Cardigan will be so worth it ☺️

Thank you for a great overview. I have knitted the Billie sweater and love it. A bit scared for the cardigan though, as I expect it meens purling, on top of the cabeling which was a bit hard on my hands. Personally i prefer steeked cardigan, especially as I can base it on any sweater pattern and knitting in the round 😊
@hipknithooray10 ай бұрын
That’s true! It’s a bit more involved and tough on the hands 😅 I’ve never steeked a cardigan before but always wanted to try…anything to avoid purling haha

I do think the pressure should be more on designers to provide size inclusive designs, than on podcasters to share/promote them. Most of the KZbinrs are not professionals and just share the things they like/found inspiring. The work to be done is getting the patterns in circulation to be inclusive for all. I definitely appreciate when size inclusive designs are included in a pattern round up and take note of both the podcaster and the designer so that I go back to them in future. All we can do is our best, while being kind and considerate of others, and request inclusivity for all from designers.

Thank you all for sharing your thoughts! I know some patterns in this video are not size inclusive. I debated whether to include them but ultimately decided that I would because they were a source of inspiration and I tried to also include alternatives when a pattern had very limited sizing (ex. Billie Cardigan and Bapuri Cardigan or the Anker Jacket and the Sorgenfri Cardigan). That being said, I appreciate everyone who’s left a comment or feedback for me here 🙂 @knitsbynayla those are some excellent points which I am grateful you took the time to express in words and will keep in mind in the future!
