Thanks to your review, I finally picked one up and installation was easy. I decided to retain my stock reverse camera, so didn't get a chance to test the included Teyes cam. The first big problem was to switch language from Russian to English. lol. Its been running fine. Just contemplating whether to go for the Teyes X5 dashcam or get other more popular ones, like Viofo, etc. Hope your CC2+ is still going strong.

Good video! Small note - where you say it boots up really quickly, the unit isn't 'booting' because you have it set to 'sleep' not 'shutdown'... Oh, and you meant 'unresponsive _seller_ ' not buyer ;)

Thanks for the info! Does that mean in sleep mode its using the battery? I haven't even seen that in the settings, I will give it a look! And yes, they did always eventually respond but did take a while and doesnt fill you with confidence. Now is Chinese new year so wouldnt expect much correspondence!

@@sumeetbains7149 I've not checked if it still draws power while sleeping but I guess it makes sense that it is... If you hit the power button with the keys out it'll switch on I think. On my similar/clone unit, under Settings > Car/Driving > More (can't remember the exact titles), there's the option to 'Auto Sleep' (which will be yours) or a list of Timers. I've set mine to 10mins so it'll shut down (and therefore reboot) when I leave the car for a while, but will still 'wake up' instantly like yours if I've just stopped briefly for petrol etc

@@sumeetbains7149 I would like to know what is the type of cpu they are using. Usually it should be Arm cortex A75 coupled with another cpu. If that is the case then it is a decent cpu and could serve for a long time if there will be no major upgrades in the firmware. This will help me decide if I go for CC3 or not. Thanx.

Hi iAmHoro2x did you have a look at my wires explanation? I dont think it will be too different so long as it comes with the wiring harness connector for your car! It wasnt easy but wasnt really that hard.

Hi there... so i just installed the cc2 plus everything was prettymuch plug and play except for the reverse camera adapter... the only thing is that i cant seem to find how to connect the unit to my phone via wifi ?!!???!?!?.. i already paired it with my phone via bluetooth... and im not using a simcard either.. please help.

Pull down from top of screen to open wifi. Then on your phone you need to activate a hotspot! This will vary depending on the phone you have

Did you connect the remote wires? Also are the red and white RCA all joined up correctly? Take some photos and share them

Just found out i dont have any place to connect my optical fiber cable (the cable that sends a laser light sometimes). Btw its on a BMW X1 2009-2012 model. You still have any sugestions?
