when i first started using fl studio, i didn't know there was a difference in the pronunciation of bass (the fish), and bass (the instrument), so i unironically called this plugin BoobAss for like a year and a half. fun times.

I actually use it to layer behind a better sounding bass plugin. Then low pass "Boob Ass" and high pass the other plugin. Makes mixing a little bit easier as I can duck Boob Ass with peak controller or sidechaining with limiter while keeping the crisp bass sounds in tact.

I love BooBass. No, it does not sound realistic, but it sounds good enough that you can tell what it's supposed to be. I make synth-only music, so having a synthetic bass works perfectly for what I make. Having a legit-sounding bass makes it sound off. It has it's uses, but if you want a realistic sound, there are definitely vastly better options. BooBass did come out a million years ago, so that warrants some slack.

I actually find that it works well in metal contexts when plugged into an EZmix bass amp designed for metal such as "Cake on Cake" or "Bass - Century Drive". It still isn't super realistic, but that's not what I'm going for, so it doesn't matter.

If you max out the low end and remove the mid and highs of boobass, it sounds way better i use it occasionally depending on the genre im making, but i use it a lot for hiphop stuff

i like to use 100% bass 100% treble but only 10% mid OR that preset, then i put a little Distructor on it and a EQ to remove unwanted frequencies. And also he used it in the wrong octave, definitely should have made it -12 semitones.
