Sir How come we know timing of Source voltage as it is not connected to transformer it will always be at Zero level right ?

Wonderful. Can you explain the cause of REF relay operation at time of switching of 66/11 kv power transformer and how to solve this problem. How to calculate stabilizing resistance to avoid inadvertent trippings during through faults and at time of switching

Sir can you tell me the shape bh curve for when flux doubling takes place. I heard hysteresis loop reduces, can you explain me how?

Dr. Tirupathiraju I learn a lot from and I appreciate that and I have one confusing question, when I close the CB of Transformer the inrush current will occur but is there any over voltage transient occur at at the same time of inrush current occur ?? or the voltage will reduce when inrush current occur, thank you

I think as transformer is a constant power device at thr time of high current voltage will be low. But the frequency of inrush current also diffrent. What happens at that condition? Its also a confusion for me

Sir, I understood that 40% of 2E1 concentrated in 5% of the winding can damage the insulation in that area. In case of Potential Transformer where primary winding gauge is very small, could this momentay voltage create enough current to fuse the wire?

Sir, I appreciate your respond, but my question is if the primary winding wire could fuse open in the 5% end areas of the winding. Since I posted the question, I realized that it will be the magnitude of the inrush current with its DC offset that could lead to the primary winding wire open in a Potential Transformer (step down transformer for metering). Am I correct?

1n 1:21 why is phi lagging the Voltage by 90°? Shouldn't it be the voltage which is lagging the phi by 90°?
@Letscrackeeetamil
@Letscrackeeetamil 2 ай бұрын
Its not voltage sir. It's the induced emf which lags behind voltage. And phi based on magnetizing current where magnetizing current lags voltage by 90° (assumed based on inductance of transformer windings).

Dear Sir, Thank you for explaining the concept of magnetic inrush current, a small suggestion Sir, is there any remedy to stop the tipping of power Transformer on earth fault protection during switching
