@@CallofDutyBlackOps28 I think those are the same people who think sniper is overpowered. Yeah, sniper can easily kill anybody from almost anywhere, but TF2 is not about killing, you know. You can have 10x more kills than anyone on the server as a sniper, but if you're on bad team, you will lose anyway. Sniper is support class, he's not designed to cap or anything that progresses your team forward. He's just supporting his team to make them win. But all those crybabies go like "snipers keep killing us, I can't revenge 'em, delete sniper from tf2". Sniper is supposed to kill. Other classes can perform various things, but sniper can't do anything but killing. Phew, I have had it with those "delete sniper" bastards...

@@onemoreoiw4397 "TF2 is not about killing" meanwhile the sniper main with +30 000 kills proceeds to spawncamp a team of gibus players on harvest for the entire game killing friendlies and memers alike. Sniper is the definition of no fun allowed and is by far most overpowered class in the game, the closest to it would be demoman with it's insane AOE burst that works so well in 12v12s, then there is large gap and scout is like entire tier below these two because no AOE and can't one-shot any class without a crit or mini-crit as well as be subject to random crits a lot due to the proximity and low HP he has to deal with as well as HARD counter of engineer being bane of his existence. Bots and cheaters are mostly snipers because sniper is the most OP class in the game if you can aim and turns out a lot of legit players can replicate bots to very convincing degree, only difference being they get sometimes caught off guard and killed from a flank, but if they see you you have about 0.21s to hide or take 150 dmg followed by a 50 dmg bodyshot, try surviving that in a pub with 3/4 f2p gibus players that have less total experience in-game than this one guy on enemy team has on sniper alone, but sure keep telling yourself it's balanced class because you can't perform with it as well as the players at the top of their game, literally and figuratively. How would sniper not be OP? Quick-scoping removed first of all, sniper at close range should be as effective as heavy at long range, limited to secondary and melee which are already strong enough to pose a threat to most classes with random crits melee can do and the jarate combo granting guarantee crits. Scoping should have longer delay, maybe 0.5s to scope in and remove the 0.2s of shots not counting as headshots while scoped, because there is no scope delay there is no reason to stay scoped in unless you going for bodyshots. Well with this nerf you'd have to fight at long range and dodging your hits would grant enemy team some 1s or 1.5s to go through your sightline before you're ready to fire again. If it was entirely up to me I'd replace the sniper rifle with something else, maybe give him a semi-automatic hard hitting rifle with 5 mag size and deal 50 damage with each shot, very accurate, but no headshot bonus. Have him most effective at mid-range with fall-off preventing long range sniping similar to shortstop on scout, but with bigger clip size, designed to chip away at relatively safe distance, but lacking in burst potential that scout, pyro, soldier, demo, heavy and engie would have if they got too close. 3 shots to kill something like scout would be too much, so you'd have to hit with primary for 50, then couple rounds of SMG to put him in one-shot range of either melee or your primary and finish him off with either depending if he gains distance or gets closer. Either way seems fair to me and would still be in support, because he'd rely on his team to keep distance between him and the enemy. I did a bit of no-scope sniper and if that thing had a clip and could be fired with similar delay to shortstop or shotgun it would be surprisingly deadly. You could even keep the charging mechanic and have it work like the Classic in a way or have it as alternative primary with some changes. Chip damage is very underrated, if you played scout you'd know how much difference that 20-30 dmg per shot at mid-range with scattergun makes, this would fit that role, but be more specialized at it with entire kit revolving around it. It would have been a lot more interesting and interactive than saying "oh damn, he could aim!" and watching respawn timer.
