This has huge potential, given that stability improvements can be made. Imagine if we eventually get large team modes with maps and game logic designed to account for the potential 50 v 50s.

​@_moonlumen most of the crashes are just caused by a limit being hit, like projectile limits. The game shouldn't crash from projectile limits it should start deleting the oldest of each type.

It makes me wonder if Valve is secretly working on a BR or other battlefield sized maps for TF2. Surely they wouldn't do this because they thought it would be fun to have 100 players on 2fort. I know their TF2 team is pretty small, so they would have to bring in more developers if this was their long term project.

I was in this server last night too, this was a wild time. I didn't disable voice just out of curiosity and literally like 5 people were micspamming at all times, I couldn't even hear a single in-game sound. Even Machina collat sound was unhearable.

Is spawncamping even possible in these servers? Because the enemy team is dishing out the normal projectile spam like 3x times more with 50 players on their team.

TBF, there are a lot of ways to make this run better. Limit sentries and Pyros, disable all cosmetics/war paints, create new maps SPECIFICALLY for this... Hopefully in a few months it will be peak awesome in one, very big, little package.

I think most of the lag is caused by sentries. If it would be limited to like 4 engies per team it would be much better

The lag is caused by all players in general and not really one particular class. The game is slowing itself down to keep track of what every single player is doing. It doesn’t help that this was on a community server, which is probably just some guy’s extra computer or some small box on a rack.
