I don't believe they patched this exploit at all. They merely just updated it instead. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if this exploit comes back a third time and then it gives you the ability to literally explode while still being alive and ubered.

Friendly reminder that this mode is not made by Valve, as is made by a small team of developers, who then submit the mode and its patches to Valve. I see a lot of people making jokes about Valve being angry at Delfy for posting this video, but I think the jokes seem to imply that Valve makes this stuff. They don't. It also means that it's even easier to Delfy to reach out to the developers like Diva Dan and Client who work on this mode and tell them about these bugs, which is a good thing.

So uh, this is something like an exploit. You can suicide durring the charge to force yourself to detonate early. You used to be able to suicide while ubered for the same effect, but that got patched out.
