I have similar experiences with weird, useless superpowers - I have the ability to know when a timer is about to go off, without looking at it or anything. If I'm cooking food, I'll set the timer for 15 minutes and go and do something else, and at 14 mins 30 seconds, without any frame of reference, I'll get up to go check on the food. I can also do the guess-when-the-toaster-pops thing consistently, even if it's being toasted for an unfamiliar amount of time. Unfortunately any practical application for this power is trumped by the fact timers and clocks exist.

I legitimately came into the comment section expecting to see a few other lamp post destroyers but am somewhat alarmed to see there are no others. I figured it was a regular experience for people just like the laundry machines eating a single sock so you always have an odd number of them. It is nice to know there is at least one other lamp post destroyer in this world although I am not sure what our powers mean. I similarly have broken some 50 or so lamp posts in the last 10 years or so. I haven’t had a 2 for one lamp destruction yet but have broken a few by driving under them. Either way shine on my lamp breaking brother!

Also a few times they turn off as I pass under and turn back on when I’m farther down the block. I had one do this a few hours apart once when I went down the block and returned the opposite way a few hours later and it turned off and on both times.

As someone who regularly plays Melee Pyro, please try out the back scratcher. Two hits deals 162 which surpasses the important damage threshold of being able to 2-shot medics. Furthermore, a crit deals 244 damage, enough to one-shot over-healed Pyros, Max-Head Eyelander Knights, and Full Health Soldiers. The health pack buff significantly increases your survivability when deep behind enemy lines too. You would have got the med pick at 29:55 if you used it.

@@ME0WMERE Powerjack only heals 25 health. With the Backscratcher equipped, even small health packs restore 51 health. So ask yourself, is it easier to eliminate two enemies, or is it easier to touch one small health pack? Powerjacks downside is also more detrimental than the Back Scratcher. Flank Pyro rarely gets pocketed, so the downside is almost non-existent. But the Powerjack puts you at a disadvantage to every class that can deal bullet damage (which is every class in the game except for Demoman) The speed from Powerjack is in theory very powerful, but in practice most people underestimate Melee Pyros and do not run. Notice how the medic and Spy both chase the melee Pyro around a corner in this vid? Because of this peculiar tendency, that extra speed is only useful for catching up to players who don't notice you are there. I like to run Thermal Thruster on my melee Pyro loadout. Detonator is okay but not the best slot for Melee Pyro.

That's what I've been saying. People keep thinking Valve needs like a crazy new anti-cheat or database, all they need is one or two human moderators going undercover and banning the bots. It's not even an issue to hire someone, because plenty of veteran TF2 players would happily volunteer to ban bots for free. Mod abuse might become a minor issue, but I'd still prefer mod abuse over bot abuse personally.
