I can teach you some aspects of spy from 2.4k hours of experience on the class if you ever do a vid on him again 😁 (apparently i was not the first one to discover this movement tech, cs players got to it first for pixel jumps and pixel surfs)

@@lieutySketchet showed that first one in his guide a few years ago, but i don't beleive he had the bind and can't really confirm the other ones but good spreading this, the more routes players have the more interesting the game gets

Welp here goes the hours I spent learning how to do the frontier jumps perfectly, now you can do it with a bind, this is ctap all over again.😢

I had a different method of going from defense to attack on that jump by activating my dr by using fall damage. Attack to defense on that jump your dr would be activated from enemy damage anyways. Apparently csgo players found this method of doing pixel jumps using +strafe first, the more you know

pro tip default bind for +strafe is alt
@xh4rmy
@xh4rmy Жыл бұрын
This is only new to tf2. This is called "align bind", modified version of this bind is used in csgo to get on pixelwalks and also pixelsurfs, by merging together movement "null" binds for long jumping and +strafe command (also can be used in tf2). This way when you release the align bind key, but keep pressing movement keys you will continue moving the direction you were moving before pressing align bind.

That’s actually op as fuck, I bet if tf2 was more competitively oriented like counter strike, this glitch would’ve been a lot more acknowledged.

I played around with the command some more, you only have to +strafe into the direction of the wall with your mouse to slightly clip into the wall, theres a second method for landing pixel jumps to your side that i forgot to include

@lieuty

I looked around a second ago and no one uses +strafe for anything in tf2, this is the only instance +strafe has any use in the game to my knowledge
@zagrfige
@zagrfige 9 ай бұрын
@@lieuty I don't think jumpers have used +strafe for pixel walks because it's not that hard to just click the side direction to break past the wall barrier. But jumpers have been using +strafe to fall through holes on bonuses for a long time.
