Fun fact: This version doesn't have any unlockables, cosmetics and new maps because Microsoft wanted to add them as DLC for real money but Gabe said that this is a bad idea (and he is totally right).

@@realobamagaming Left 4 Dead 2 actually got pretty solid support on console up til 2012. That's where Cold Stream came from: Valve wanting to port custom maps to Xbox 360. The only real content missing (besides Last Stand of course) are 4 mutations, the chat wheel, and the reworked Dark Carnival finale.

This is just incorrect, the reason is that both Sony and Microsoft were charging Valve too much per update so Valve just decided to exclusively update the PC version of the game.

Man, seeing everyone move so sloppy, the turning speed being so unbelievably slow, yet it still looks so much fun to play anyway, kind of should tell you how good TF2 is by that alone

only thing that really changed with lighting is that some lightmaps broke because of a hasty steampipe migration and when unlockable weapons were added they redid the viewmodels, with some getting hastily made materials that don't look as good the rest of the game looks identical

I remember an old classmate, who had the XBOX version of the Orange Box. I was so baffled to see console versions of these games. Although PC is still better, I think they did a great job with this.

The server browser can be a bit buggy, try joining via an invite or via someone’s profile.

Only the Playstation 3 version got shut down. The Xbox 360 version doesn’t use servers, instead it uses peer to peer connection.
