if you can find a way to have enough health to do this (such as quick fix medic healing you or a health kit in front of your sentry) you could use two rockets, one to make you fly forward, then before going near your sentry make it shoot a rocket where you think your going to land and grab the sentry right before that. Its probably going to be hard to do, but it would be very useful

Today, without properly knowing how to do it, I did my first set of sentry jumps on Doublecross, using a mini sentry. The first one was to get into the enemy's roof, the second one was to escape that part right next to the intel. We were cornered and our scout died, so I picked the intel, did a sentry jump, escaped and won the match (we were 2-2). It felt pretty awesome.

By using a simple and legit script you can keybind two keyboard's buttons sentry jump and picking the sentry at the same time. Absolutely awesome before Rescue ranger, and still useful if you want to do it in a fraction of time. I've a playlist for some example of that. You don't even need to jump and crouch. Just aim, press, and strafe after. // Engineer Sentry jumping (including pickup) alias "+crouchjump" "+attack2; +jump; +duck" alias "-crouchjump" "-attack2; -jump" bind "o" +crouchjump alias "+fire" "lastinv; +attack2" alias "-fire" "-attack2; -duck" bind "p" +fire Sentry Jumping w/ pick-up has to be done by pressing "o" and "p" in very quick succession with wrangler out and looking below your sentry; just one button over the other. Practice: your timing is what other scripts would do with the banned WAIT command...
