I disagree about the knee and elbow pads for scout, I can definitely see pairing them with a LOT of his shirt cosmetics...if anything they do a GREAT job at breaking up the legs for me (which is wonderful because long slender legs of one flat color drives me insane) so chuck on some black knee pads and suddenly you have a slightly more military look

I wanna preface this with the "Biker Scout" segment of the video on why theres no boots and kneepads, we already have various Boot wears in the game such as the Brooklyn Booties and Forest Footwear, they likely scraped the boots because of valve being notorious for only adding 1-2 of the cosmetics from sets. And we do have the Transparent Trousers for the Kneepad side of things.

Two things 1: The Throttlehead has z-fighting with the Speedy Scoundrel. It’s the same fucking bandana, and I dock it a point as a result. Still a good hat, but man that’s weird to have not just clipping but straight-up z-fighting on a hat. 2: Wacky thing on head can be good! There was a submission on the workshop for a duck on Spy’s head, but that was a legit submission and reference to a James Bond film! A Sean Connery James Bond! And while a bit goofy, you could very easily play it off as hyper spy-realistic. The new hat? “Lol funny smoking frog!”

Wacky thing on head has plagued the workshop for a long time now, i think i would be fine if most of them were comical like the The Counterfeit Billycock but instead they're blantant ly "cute" or "haha soldier has shotgun so let's put a huge shotgun shell on his head" which often leads me to believe it was made to get a quick buck, with no thought going into the very concept of the hat. It takes away a slot in a crate. a slot that could've been used for a better hat. If i got a simple hat/cosmetic/skin that was conceptually well crafted like The Soldier's Stogie and yet didn't have jigglebones/special rare stickers/being multi-class it would be a better fit for the game than wacky animal on shoulder #13. i rather have a plain hat for one class than a Unusual Green flames Strange Shiny turd that's available for all mercs to use.

When it comes to Fizzy Pharmacist, I'm not the biggest fan of the set, but it still looks good and is well made, but I can still heavily appreciate it, as it is a direct reference to old times on how a lot of Pharmacy's used Soda originally as a Medicine for people, making sense to the Medic himself which I can appreciate the effort and call-back for.

The Chaser and The Western Wraps are my personal favorite . fit tf2 and actually look nice . we need more cloth/shirt cosmetics in tf2 . we have way too many hats and pointless pets .also the Fizzy Pharmacist non-stripe style is good . i actually dismissed the hat until i learned it had that cool second style . Edit: I also believe it's time that tf2 add a additional slot for medals cosmetic . for real why we don't already have that . they love adding ton of pointless medals in the game but no one use them because they take a cosmetic slot .

it's nice (or in another sense disappointing) to know that we can expect at least one crate a year that has normal loadout items. Also, we need more cosmetics that can pair with weapon skins! An extra layer of congruence between the funkier war paints and accompanying loadouts.

medic foodservice one isnt too bad in my opinion. maybe its because im a medic main who loves old soda shops... but i really like it. plus pharmacists were also sodajerks back in the day... and medics approach to medicine isnt far from "put some cocaine in this liquor and call it a health tonic". not to mention medic has already had "the doughpuncher" for god knows how long. and this is a much better medic shirt cosmetic than that is. though yeah, the hat is lame.

I think you have to remember that people have different tastes and that's why this case is so good, that even going past that some people like the animal ones and just quirky cosmetics in general, the quirky animal cosmetics here are nicely made. The crocodile looks good and not gaudy on the head, and man I love frogs so I'm hella biased to the spy frog (which even going past it being absurd, looks nicely detailed). Almost everything in this set, even if its quirky and not to your taste, looks nice and balanced out with the various styles of cosmetics except for the umbrella hat WHICH IS FUCKING STUPID
