TF3 VS TF2 Trail Battle!!

Got the New Trailfinder 3 back in order and ready for action. Tom’s TF2 is a well seasoned trail banger with lots of miles under her. Figure, if you’re gonna TRY “measuring” up to a TF2 his might as well be it?
Welp, after a day of tiny truck wheelin, I’ll say the TF3 is a step behind the TF2 in the performance department. That’s ok though. It flies better so…😬

Some of these obstacals are insane for a trail truck. Way out of there leagues. But being R/C its fun to push these trucks to unrealistic limits. Makes for awesome footage, just like this!

I wonder if packing the trans with grease would muffle the amplified gear noise that plasic housing is emitting??

Love the video and the driving, thinking of grabbing one myself. Is the noisy one the older of the 2? Sounds like design or dodgy meshing or just a noisy motor. Thanks

Great comparison 👍. I'm looking into a new project and I like both alot and I like how the new TF3 looks like a modern day version of a bruiser with the chassis. Which version do you prefer or like better? Thanks

I’d go with the Tf2 cause it has more aftermarket support at the moment. TF3 is a cool truck, just not refined like the tf2. 👍

@@CapekScaleCreations Thanks for your input as my LHS has both but his TF3 doesn't sound as noisy as this. So not sure if they did something a tad different on the standard version (which I highly doubt) but I think alot of the noise is caused by the plastic scale motor housing. But still a good video comparing the 2 😎👍
