Just want to add a few viewpoints to the conversation to comments saying “you should spend all your money on ammo”: Agreed - practice is king. But I would also ask the question - why not both? Why not increasing performance with aftermarket parts AND train? (And this looks different for everybody) Example: You can be at your personal best at 25yo on your 1990 racing bicycle, but when weekend joe 55y comes by with his 2024 $7K 4.5kg Carbon Fiber Bicycle, he’ll beat you just with his medium effort. Tech CAN make a difference when it comes to performance. That said, I’d rather train AND take the unfair advantage. What I’d add to that: it should take you years to build out a glock like the one shown in the video. Don’t buy all parts at once. The company pistol in the video took 7 years to look like that. Tweak here, tweak there. Try out things. Ask questions, search forums - figure out if anybody knows more than you - be curious. Accept that some parts don’t work for you. It’s not a black & white question, whether you should increase performance with aftermarket parts OR spend the money on ammo.

@BlackTridentOfficial honestly, 9mm doesn't need all this aftermarket crap. It's a f*&^%×n 9mm? It's hilarious to see people applying 10mm+ technology on a gun that will shoot like a .22 if you just put in the right recoil for the power level? Lmao. .357 sig, 10mm, .40 or 45 super can use the mods you're doing to 9mm. If you have sights you can acquire quickly and are familiar with how your ammo performs? What else can you buy to give you an "unfair" advantage? Lol

Trooper collapsed and died on the side of the road, driver with four speedholes in his chest got back into his car and drove off. @JJ_SDWR You missed the point, JJ. The point is that you have to practice with what you have. For many people, the purchase of the pistol eats up all of their disposable income. There's simply not enough in the budget for aftermarket sights. Essentially, what you're saying is that you shouldn't practice with and master the equipment you already have. What a bizarre train of thought.
@JJ_SDWR5 ай бұрын
@@scottkelly7051 no, you should absolutely train with what you have, nobody has ever disputed that. The point of contention is the idea that if a 20 year old was able to hit a target with a stock gun then that's proof there is no need for anything beyond that. By that logic, if someone has stopped an assailant with a NAA 22lr single-shot boot-gun, then that's all you need to be prepared. To each their own, I don't use as my base case a scenario where a guy was not in a two-way shootout or under direct attack, he was able to take an aimed shot(s) at a mass-shooter who wasn't actively shooting at him. That is not even remotely similar to what 99.99% of defensive gun uses by citizens look like, training to that standard is absurd.

@tvbtv Would you mind doing a video on the Radian Ramjet afterburner, I've only heard positive things like there are no side effects or any drawbacks and even the muzzle flash in the dark is supposed to be (almost) the same as a no comp pistol (glock 19) standard if that's all true. Sounds like a video for the Mythbusters. (Really no drawbacks??)

Depends what you want it for I’m not taking my built 34 out for duty use I’m taking a stock 17 with a TLR and RMR end of story
