In this video we will be taking a look at all the teams and stadiums from the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League season. You will learn every team, stadium, the capacity and opening year of all the grounds and see every stadium from the air and from inside the ground. Ordered by capacity from smallest to largest.
The 2024-25 UEFA Champions League is the 70th season of Europe's premier club football tournament. This will be the first season under a new format, where in the league phase each team plays eight games against different opponents, but all 36 teams are ranked in a joint group. The final will be played on 31 May 2025 at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. Real Madrid are the defending champions.

@@1994SportklubSG oh that is a pity. I remember European matches played there when Sturm Graz regularly qualified for Champions League in the late 90s and early 00s. I think I remember Man Utd travelling there. Memory a bit foggy. I suppose the UEFA standards became more strict over time.

Side Notes: 1.The Stade de Rondourou is actually Guingamp's home ground, but Brest had to use this for the Champions League games since their own stadium is too small and doesn't met the required UEFA stadium criterias. 2.The Veltins Arena is actually Schalke 04's home ground, but due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, Shakhtar Donetsk had to play the Champions League games there. It gets even crazier if Shakhtar Donetsk paired up with any Bundesliga clubs since most fans believed that game is a regular Bundesliga matchup (even though Schalke 04 is 2.Bundesliga club). This is mainly due to the new format in this competition, which allowed a single team to face a maximum of 2 teams from the same country. 3.I'm also pointing out that Bayern Munich's home ground will also host this season's final. It might be hillarious to see them losing again just like what happened 13 years earlier, when they lost on penalties to Chelsea.

Brest's stadium does not meet UEFA standards for hosting European cup matches, so they play at the nearest compliant stadium.

@@ezraezra2928 That's not 100% the reason, as uefa standards prohibit the tubular stands that make up Brest's stadium, particularly for the visitors' stands. So to avoid having less than 50% max capacity, they're going to Guingamp.

For the people who don’t know, stade de rondourou is a ligue 2 stadium team called guingamp but the team accepted the loan the stadium for Brest due to Brest stadium issues. Their real stadium is call stade Francis le blé
