I believe Toronto's Sky Dome was a first and biggest of it's kind it takes 20mins for the 8acre roof to close lol by that time everything gets wet. There are a bunch of rules involved in it's decision making of closing and opening of the roof or if the game starts with the roof open or closed. It was because we get snow and rain up here, that would cause games to be cancelled and other problems they had at the old Legendary CNE Stadium. I'm glad they didn't tear it down I hate when they do that it erases the history of the events. So much history has been lost because of Stadiums and Arenas being tore down eg. Boston Gardens, Maple Leafs Gardens etc. Where i live in Windsor, Ont. next to Detroit The Palace of Auburn Hills was built in Aug 1988 and tore down in July 2020 32yrs later and $223 million in today's dollars gone gezz I thought they would last a lot longer and built to keep for longer, same goes for The Pontiac Silver Dome. Here we go talking about that Tired So-Fi stadium 🏟️ you talking about the Take Your $💰🏟️ stadium.Funny mostly it's reminds me of a place to Waste $$$ I bought seats last Season. I was bewildered everytime I went to game, the people who kept going to bar, why didn't they just stay at the bar and drink. They kept saying, Excuse me wasting their drink on me. Oh yes Didn't some one die in their New Man-made Lake. Save your $ buy a Hotdog before you go in and buy one on way out. The chargers don't have No Charge power. I bet It's all a big Joke to So-Fi how they laugh at the people giving them their $💸money. I just couldn't see myself given another dollar to organize bandits.
