Just visit discord.gg/Lukium Important: As pointed out by @fingreen9287, you might be able to get even more shots by rolling asap after the beginning of the animation to cancel it! - Clarification: It's not the weapon's innate fire rate that carries to Overkill (ability), it's the combined fire rate mods equipped on the weapon. So, it shouldn't matter if it's the fastest or slowest weapon, as long as they have maxed out Fire Rate Up AND Sharp Precision Shot mods, you should be golden. Some things that I didn't mention in the video: 1. This build used 3 catalysts (resets) 2. I might further improve the build by running Walk a Tightrope, then letting the boss drop the HP below 50%. This should be sufficient for wiping out the Pyromaniac a lot easier. 3. Mods that impact Skill Power MODIFIER have very little impact on the overall damage of the build because the base skill modifier of #4 is already ~2650% 4. I thought about using the Increased Efficiency Transcendent Mod, but while the mod description doesn't say so, it SEVERELY cripples #4's damage Please let me know if you have any suggestions for improving the build

@@MrLukium increase efficiency and the base overkill skill are 2 completely separate ultimate abilities and should be treated as such. IE is a grenade launcher stile Ultimate with a focus on Heavy on AoE

Yeah, the reason I brought it up is that when I originally theorized doing this build, I thought that running Increased Efficiency might make the super better based on the description. However, it was not until I equipped it that I realized that it significantly drops the Skill Power Modifier, making it not viable for a build focused on insta-killing bosses. I'm actually going to feature Increased Efficiency on a Mobbing build I'm working on that is based on extremely low cooldowns and extremely high range

Use Lethal Ambush, that should help out immensely because it is basically a free 50% skill power increase when the boss is immobilized. Also I don't really know if you can get more duration but I also recommend the use of the Firearm Master augment for a little bit more damage if you want and maybe the use of Secret Garden as it gives you a chance for skill power buffs when using a tech ability for a little more damage. Fire specialist should also help as it increases skill power as well. Also is 15 the maximum amount of shots that can be fired?

​@alexavila9802 I would also run fire specialist and shield, and spear max skill is just 2 much a liability in group content and the dmg number between it and max skill is a none issue you'll still 1 phase the boss anyway.

I just thought I would recommend something that would do more damage as that seems to be the aim for this video. My build will end up being like this and with some of the mods I mentioned on top of having shield and spear and agony. So I can have some amount of survivability while being able to output max damage. Though I feel like Lethal Ambush is a must because combined with the slayer set it works out to be about 77% times more damage if I'm doing the math in my head right? Idk but it's a lot.

You can use this build for the boss killing portion and use additional catalysts to make it viable for mobbing as well. I finished adding catalysts to my Lepic (8 total) and got a crazy mobbing build. Should have a vid in the next few days

Awesome video man very detailed love the build, much appreciated. Quick question. I'm open to suggestions. I know slayer is a game changer (I don't have it as I'm stuck on this one), but for my life I can't get through devourer. The shield easily goes down with more than half of the health bar as well, but then he gets enraged, which completely fucks me over. I think if I could squeeze a bit more damage out of Lepic I could potentially pull it off. Any suggestions? . From what I've seen that other ppl said so far, that is the easiest to solo. So I suppose it could be just a skill issue for me. If anyone would have any tips, that would be much appreciated

I’ll suggest to test it out with a purple reactor instead. If i recall correctly, ultimate reactors only work when weapon mounted, hence when you used #4, u actually dismounted your weapon. So using a rare reactor will be an better option. Nice build, gonna try it out after a few resets for lepic

iirc, gold reactors don't activate with Lepic's ult because it is its own special weapon.

It does, though. I used to run the build on purple reactor, and moving to a gold one made a huge difference. You can get a good one right now for special ammo weapons from Valby Run (even though it got nerfed)

Swamp Walker is definitely a hard one to take out, especially without further investing more Catalysts into Lepic. It can definitely be done on an endgame Lepic build, but you have to get the hits just right to Stagger it right away so it doesn't frenzy, and so you can maximize your damage with Dangerous Ambush. Yea, and even for people that can't do the full build yet, you can still farm bosses under 2 minutes. Just let the boss kill you, and overkill gets recharged, allowing you to hit the boss again

If you are on console we cant get these numbers because our fps is capped at 60 unless you have a High Hz tv/monitor. We still cant replicate pc performance either way so be aware of that :-)

If you can take out Devourer, I strongly recommend farming him a few times to get his set, making sure to get as much HP/DEF as possible throughout his parts (you can get both on all except the Processor - which will come with Shields in the random stat). This should give you a substantial boost to survivability. Then if you have the rest of the build put together, you should be able to use the "revive" trick to take out Pyro relatively easily (hit him with Overkill, let him kill you, then upon reviving, Overkill will be recharged - wait for his frenzy phase to end and hit him with overkill again). Should only take 2 Overkills to kill him if you're going solo

TL:DR: Lots of places including Hard Swamp Walker. imgur.com/a/cnFjulH But you can check the location of any mod by going to the following menu tree: Access Info -> Module -> Type Mod Name in search bar -> Click on Mod -> Press the key for "Acquisition Info" ("F" on PC - not sure the keys on Console) I recommend farming for mods in the mission locations because you can see the drop chance on mission completion, whereas trying to get them to drop from monsters can be a lot more iffy.

You're very welcome. From all my tests, it's only the mod itself. I originally ran this with my trusty tamer (~650 RPM) and it worked the exact same as Clairvoyance, which has much lower base fire rate, as long as both had maxed out fire rate mods.

I would go for components that give either DEF or HP where possible. Definitely go for extra MP on the sensor. Each slot can have a different elemental resistance too, so you'd want a "bossing" set with Shield/HP/DEF on 2 of the stats (DEF/HP where possible) and elemental resistance on the 3rd slot. You'd want a "mobbing" set that has extra kuiper/gold/consumables/modules/equipment, and a leveling set that has extra character xp/firearm proficiency. I would recommend the Annihilation set (from Devourer) for mobbing and leveling because the fixed stat is HP/DEF on every slot. Then run Increased HP/DEF mods on your descendant, and that will give you a super strong foundation for almost any descendant

Aim for the weakest part of the body. The easy way to do this is to attack the weakest point on the chest, make it fall over, and then go for the knees. Then you will see that damage modification is not important. Sorry for the weird English.

Are you sure everything is the same? Gold Reactor? Do you have the gold reactor weapon equipped when launching Overkill? Full set of Slayer with +MP Sensor? Maxed out Fire Rate Up and Sharp Precision Shot on the matching gold weapon? Made sure that you have the right descendant/weapon profile selected (I've messed this last one up a few times before to great lol afterwards) Other than that, it would just be massive bad luck... Also I agree with above comment with a caveat for clarity: the ability doesn't seem to have any weakpoint damage, so you're hitting the weak spots only to stagger the boss and prevent an immune phase from starting mid ability

I'm curious about the weapon mod part, If adding fire rate to a weapon makes it shoot faster then wouldn't it shoot even faster if you had a fast firing weapon IE Python or Blue blood boomer?

It seems like it's only the mod stats that carry over, not the base fire rate. I tried I few other stats to see if they would carry over, but of all the ones I tried, it only seems to work for fire rate mods. I wonder if it's a bug or if it was actually intended

@@MrLukium ok one more thing, instead of Walk a tight rope you should try a maxed "Dangerous Ambush" Now you might not get the first part to trigger especially if you're solo bossing, but I notice you can stagger very quickly which is where I believe the second part of the card would make you do insane damage with an Immobilized target. You happen to immobilize the boss by the 3rd shot then every shot after that would be and extra +49.8% skill damage. What do you think?

I would go to the lab and test it for your specific setup. As long as it doesn't reduce your fireball count, that's fine, otherwise, the damage increase won't be substantial enough to offset one less fireball

@@MrLukium Given how much duration you are using, you can cast your 2 before combat and by the time you cast your 4 you´ll have full mana again, no downsides. Pretty good build btw! keep it up

Ensuring Legacy will run great on any build, so as long as you will be running Sharp Precision Shot and Fire Rate Up (which I would on any machine gun), then yeah it should transition well.

Is there a reason for the gun you choose? Is it just because of the reactor?

I was farming reactors for the build, that one dropped, so I went and crafter the gun. Unless you already dropped a really good reactor that fits the build it'll likely take less time to keep the first one you drop and farm the gun, than trying to find a reactor that matches an existing gun you already have.

Dangerous Ambush is coming on the final build for people who want to grind (7 catalysts). The reason reason is that dangerous ambush only gives 49% skill power, some of the time (when the boss is staggered, so, compared to the rest of the build (maximize power, crit, durarion) it has the least overall impact on the final damage and would make the build weaker if swapped in

How about your Reactor and External Components? Are you running an upgraded ultimate reactor and Slayer Set? Also, are you running the weapon mods to get as many fireballs?

@@MrLukium Yes, yes and yes, the only thing I have yet to do is upgrade the reactor. I have the same external sets (made sure to get mp recovery) have one more mode than you do (Technician) and have DMG Vs coloussus on the mod 😂 my crits seem to be around 1.4mil when they happen, I don't get it 😅

The slayer set does account for a substantial damage boost, in theory you can wipe Devourer without it (assuming you pretty much have everything else - 2x enhanced ultimate reactor with matching weapon with gold +Colossi damage & + skill boost), but you're probably going to need some serious luck on the crits.

I've done some tests, but I'm fairly confident that the optimal setup is going to be to focus on duration/skill power. As long as you're running a +MP sensor with ~140+ MP, I'm pretty sure that you can shoot the most fireballs without needing cost reduction. The main issue is that if you run cost reduction it will come at a sacrifice of skill power, or you won't have enough duration to shoot the max number of fireballs. Thanks for the idea though!

@@MrLukium it depends because you can also roll out of the animation and get 2 extra shots that way also and stack duration and cost reduction the Annihilation set 2 pice also gives duration and it comes on Reactors alot of external ways to get more duration and shots other than strait stacking duration.

Same stats, same mods, Crit rate problem, Devourer is a only one boss that I'm able to kill. Cancel the animation and still have the issue. They neft this or what? 46,7% chance for crit. Sometimes I have even problem with devourer.. what is going on ?

It has not been nerfed. How about your reactor? How about your External Component Set? If using an Ultimate (Golden Reactor), do you have the matching Ultimate weapon in hand when you're casting Overkill? As for the Crit chance, keep in mind that enemies have a Critical Hit Resistance stat. So, you're not actually going to hit any boss with a crit 46.7% of the time, though the higher your crit is, the more times you will crit.

It doesn't have to be Clairvoyance, it just needs to be a weapon that can run Sharp Precision Shot, preferably one that uses Impact Rounds, because those weapons charge up Sharp Precision Shot faster than all others.

I would def try a HP mod and Walk a Tightrope for bosses that have a bigger HP pool, then let the boss drop you down to 50% HP or lower and you should get even more damage out Thx for the comment!

I'm gonna add this to the pinned comment because I definitely made it ambiguous in the video: it's not the fire rate of the weapon itself that carries to Overkill. It's the fire rate mods on the weapon. So no matter which weapon you use, it should have the same effect

Youre wrong about skill modifier. Check the burn dmg modifier. Running some skill modifier should increase your dmg more than skill dmg. Prob best some of both (EDIT: by burn dmg i talk about continuous dmg modifier)

I've checked the videos out there that rely on skill power modifier and firearms master. They all require about 2x the number of catalyst and don't seem to do significantly more damage. It's all about how the numbers break down. Overkill inherently starts at about 2750% skill power modifier and any mods you equip apply their bonus additively to the base value. So for example, if you equip a mod that adds 20% SPM, it doesn't multiply the 2750% by 1.2, giving it an additional 550% (20% of 2750), it just adds to the 2750, making it 2770, thus increasing the final skill power modifier by a measly 0.7%. On the other hand, any increase in skill power gets modified by the base SPM, so if you increase skill power by 20%, that gets multiplied by the 2750%, having a massive impact on the final damage. I'm planning an in-depth video to explain/showcase these mechanics so people can make better builds

@@Dwojkat it takes much more than an hour to get to complete the story to get to hard mode and farm a good set from pyro. Everyone tends to use firearm master as well with lepic to melt bosses. Which you can't get until a few levels after pyro. This is one of the better guides on this.

Why would you use Maximize Skill for 5% more skill damage than Fire Specialist... you're using a fire skill. That's not enough of a percentage to warrant +50% cooldown. I don't care if you are only killing bosses and kililng yourself.. it's still not worth it.

This is meant to be strictly a 3 or less catalyst build for players that want to slap bosses without having to grind hard. I have another video I'm working on with 8 Catalysts, which has several additions, including Dangerous Ambush. Now, back to this build, which current mod would you suggest replacing Dangerous Ambush with without reducing the damage of the build? Finally, as you acknowledge, the cooldown is essentially 0 and meaningless on this build since it should take at most 1 death to solo any soloable hard boss

I think it's awesome that unlike a lot of devs, Nexon is letting people create builds like this, and instead of nerfing things, just trying to make sure that all descendants have some way to shine. I saw a Viessa doing the Valby run yesterday that left me legit flabbergasted. I had just reset my Lepic and in the time it took me to clean my inventory from the last run that Viessa took me to level 10. I got to 40 in less than 15 minutes (pre-patch). I think it was a full damage hypothermia build.
