The two piece square flexshaft system is a Jurassic system and a PITA to do maintenance...you need to remove the strut eversingle time you want to put grease...so IT GOT TO GO! This is the video!

Heya Mate, how long was the one piece driveshaft in the end? I got a 1126 too and want to replace the two piece flexshaft as fast as possible, but I don't have the tools or experience to cut it myself 😅

It's actually more simple then it might think! Nowdays i just cut with a cut disc like on video...that machine was bough on the LIDL stores for about less then 50€. Sure you need the batery and the charger...but you can have an ecosystem of tools from Parkside! Anyway...i measure it twice and cuted once...well actually twice to! I can measure the size of it, but you just can put if inside and figure out what to cut...it's not rock science...even a blind man can do it! :) Good luck! I HATE the 2 piece system that comes stock from TFL...it's from the jurassic period for maintenance...and each run is maintenance time...so it has to go as soon as it arrive to me! :)
